1. Your agreement and eligibility

By using Noveldora, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked here. If you do not agree, please stop using the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information; our Payment & Refund Policy explains purchases and refund requests.

The service is not intended for children under 13 or anyone below the minimum age required in their country. If you are under 18 or the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with a parent or legal guardian’s permission and supervision. Purchases require the permission of the payment method’s owner. Content intended for adults may only be accessed by users who meet the applicable age requirements.

2. Your reader account and device

You can start reading without signing up. Noveldora creates a guest reader session in your browser to associate your library, reading progress, chapter unlocks and wallet with your reader ID.

Keep access to the browser and device you use. Clearing cookies, using private browsing, switching browsers or losing the device can prevent access to a guest account, including its coins and unlocked chapters. Cross-device recovery is not guaranteed. Keep your reader ID and payment receipts so support can investigate an access problem.

Protect your device and do not sell, share or transfer your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You may request account closure by contacting [email protected]; see the Privacy Policy for data deletion details.

3. Stories and your reading licence

Stories, artwork, branding, software and other website materials belong to their respective rights holders. Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access content through Noveldora for non-commercial reading.

Unlocking a chapter gives access within the service; it does not transfer copyright or grant permission to copy, publish, resell, distribute, translate or commercially exploit the story. Content availability may change because of licensing, legal requirements or service changes. If purchased access is affected, contact us so we can review the appropriate remedy under applicable law.

4. Coins, prices and chapter unlocking

Some chapters are free; others require coins. The wallet and checkout display the price, currency, coin quantity and any bonus included in a pack before payment. Coin packs are one-time purchases. A chapter’s coin cost is shown before unlocking.

If you turn on automatic unlocking, you authorize Noveldora to spend available coins when you reach eligible locked chapters. You can switch this setting off in your profile or the reader. Automatic unlocking does not itself purchase additional coins or create a recurring payment.

Coins are service credits for use on Noveldora. They are not a bank deposit, investment or transferable currency and cannot be sold or exchanged for cash except where a refund or applicable law requires it. Bonus coins have no separate purchase price. Any promotional restrictions will be disclosed with the offer.

Payment is processed by the provider shown at checkout. You must provide payment details you are authorized to use. Refunds, delivery issues and adjustments following a reversed payment are described in our Payment & Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

Please use Noveldora lawfully and respect authors, other readers and our systems. You must not:

• Reproduce or redistribute protected content without permission, except where the law permits it.
• Bypass chapter locks, interfere with payments, manipulate coin balances or access another reader’s account.
• Use automated scraping or bulk downloading without permission, or disrupt the website with malicious code or excessive requests.
• Send unlawful, threatening, harassing, fraudulent or infringing material through support or any available service feature.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your rights to content.

6. Feedback and copyright reports

You retain rights to material you send us. By submitting a support message or feedback, you allow us to use it to investigate, respond and improve the service. Do not send material that you are not entitled to share or another person’s unnecessary personal information.

If you believe a story or other material infringes your copyright, follow the copyright complaint procedure. Sending a manuscript does not by itself create a publishing agreement or give us a right to publish it.

7. Service changes and account restrictions

We may maintain, update or change the website and may temporarily interrupt access. Story schedules and uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address security threats, fraud, infringement, unlawful conduct or a material breach of these Terms.

Where practicable, we will explain a restriction and provide a way to contact us about it. A restriction does not remove any refund or other consumer right you have under applicable law. You can stop using the service at any time.

8. Disclaimers and responsibility

Fiction is provided for entertainment. Characters, opinions and events in a story do not necessarily reflect our views. Third-party websites and payment services have their own terms and privacy practices.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis without a promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose. We are responsible for our obligations under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, or limits mandatory consumer guarantees and remedies.

9. Governing law and resolving concerns

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. Please contact [email protected] first so we can try to resolve a concern. Subject to mandatory law, disputes may be brought before the courts of Hong Kong. If you are a consumer, this clause does not deprive you of mandatory protections or the right to bring proceedings in a court available to you under the law of your place of residence.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service or legal requirements. The revision date appears at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide a prominent notice on the website or another appropriate notification and seek agreement where required. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
