Chapter 9
Chapter 11

After sending the email, I looked up and locked eyes with Mia, who was completely stunned.

I flashed her a dazzling smile. "Sorry, Ms. White.

"Looks like it's not me who's getting the boot."

Almost as soon as the words left my mouth, the sound of email notifications echoed from Amy's and the HR Director's phones.

Henry, still standing in the office doorway, felt his phone buzz in his pocket too.

The instant everyone caught sight of that email subject line, all their faces froze.

Mia's smug grin and cocky attitude disappeared without a trace.

All that was left was an overwhelming wave of shock and panic.

As for Henry, the moment he saw the email, his body swayed, and his eyes rolled back.

Then he collapsed, stiff as a board, right in front of everyone.

The whole office went dead silent.

My counterattack was just getting started.

The moment Henry collapsed, the entire office froze.

The air filled with screams and gasps, mingling with the crash of chairs and desks into one chaotic uproar.

"Call an ambulance. Now. Mr. Cole passed out."

"Oh my god, how could this happen?"

The first to react was the HR Director, Bella Warren, a middle-aged woman.

She rushed forward, ordering someone to call an ambulance while trying to keep everyone calm.

Meanwhile, Mia, the other main player in this mess, was completely stunned.

She stood there, staring at Henry, who was lying unconscious on the floor.

The color drained from her face at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Mia never thought things would blow up like this.

She'd been so sure she'd get to watch me get thrown out in disgrace.

She never imagined I'd have such a game-changing ace up my sleeve.

Adultery. Illegal asset misappropriation. Workplace bullying. Each word was a heavy bomb. And I detonated them all without hesitation.

Mia stared at me, her eyes no longer holding arrogance and contempt. Instead, for the first time, they showed panic and fear.

"Y-You're insane." Mia's voice was trembling, and her hand shook as she pointed at me. "How dare you make such a scene?

"Do you know who I am? Do you have any idea who my dad is?

"You ruined Henry, and don't think you'll get off easy."

At this point, her only play was to fall back on her family name to intimidate me.

Pathetic and laughable.

I couldn't be bothered to spare Mia a glance.

My gaze went right past her and landed on William and Amy, who had just rushed over.

Their expressions were extremely complex, marked by shock, solemnity, and probing curiosity toward me.

Bella pushed up her glasses and walked right up to me, her voice serious. "Olivia, is everything you reported in that email true?

"Do you have any evidence?"

I nodded.

Calmly, I pulled a folder out of my desk drawer.

It was a folder I'd prepared in advance, packed with hard copies of all the evidence: bank statements, copies of property deeds, the prenuptial agreement, and the transcript of my conversation with Henry and Mary yesterday.

I said, "Ms. Warren, Amy, all the evidence is right here.

"Every transfer, every document, and every recording will hold up to any investigation.

"I take full legal responsibility for every word I have said."

My voice wasn't loud, yet it carried clearly through the entire office.

All the whispers died down.

Everyone's eyes were glued to the folder I handed over.

That thin folder suddenly felt like it weighed a ton.
