Chapter 1
On the wedding day, my twin sister, Keira Warren, claimed she had gone to the wrong room and had ended up sleeping with my husband, Oscar Pacheco.
I guessed that she had also returned to the past.
In my previous life, my family went bankrupt. My parents sent Keira and me to the Pachecos' place for refuge before they fled, as the two families had long had a marriage arrangement.
But Isabel Pacheco had only one son, Oscar.
Keira took generous compensation and left. I obeyed and married Oscar, only to be ruined and killed by this cheating scumbag.
This time, I was about to take the money and leave when I suddenly saw a red comment.
It read: [Hey, don't go out. Your evil sister has told your wicked parents to wait for you outside with a bunch of people.
[[They'll snatch all your money the moment you walk out and sell you off to a remote village where you'll live a life worse than death.]
Another chimed in: [In your previous timeline, Oscar stayed out carousing day and night, not because he despised you. He was testing you.
[When he saw you never came to him, he drowned his sorrows in alcohol and cried himself to sleep every night.]
A third comment read: [And Oscar never actually slept with Keira. It was all a setup to test you. He acts like he doesn't care, but he's actually waiting for you to slap him.
[Go back to him, and you won't have to fear your vicious parents anymore.]
I was about to slap Oscar when another golden comment popped up: [Or why don't you take a look at Oscar's uncle, Ivan? He loves you, too.
[Ivan may be sitting there looking all serious, but his heart is already breaking. He's already figuring out which church to retreat to tomorrow.]
I stared in complete confusion.

I had traveled back through time.
I returned to my wedding with Oscar.
When I saw my twin sister Keira secretly follow my husband upstairs, I knew she had also traveled back.
Keira had wandered with our parents for a whole life in the previous life.
She knew there was no chance for the family to make a comeback, and no matter how much money the Pacheco family gave, it would run out one day.
She knew I, as her younger sister, had no ability to tie a man down or get money from him. So she planned to take my place and stay in the Pacheco family by being my bridesmaid.
I couldn't have asked for anything better.
In my previous life, I listened to my father and stayed in the Pacheco family as Mrs. Pacheco.
During our engagement, Oscar treated me with great care, and I also fell in love with him. But I never expected that Oscar would disappear on our wedding night.
The next day, the news blew up online: [Oscar Spent His Wedding Night at a Club.] Everyone in our circle was laughing at us, and our already shaky marriage became a total joke.
My life with the Pacheco family got even tougher after that.
For the next ten years, I never saw him except at family dinners. As soon as he got off work, he would go to a club with his friends and stay out all night.
If I wanted to know what he was up to, I had to check the celebrity gossip columns.
Even when I did see him, he ignored me as if I were some annoying garbage, not the person he had insisted on marrying.
Isabel blamed me for not being able to keep Oscar around, and Juliet Pacheco, Oscar's grandma, complained that I couldn't give her a great-grandkid.
No one in the Pacheco family treated me well, and they even used me as a maid.
But my parents and Keira thought I was living a comfortable life. They kept pretending to be pitiful and asking me for money.
Later, Isabel found out that I had sold my jewelry and dresses to help my family. Juliet also accused me of stealing over 300 thousand dollars from her. They kicked me out of the Pachecos' place.
Back with my parents, I thought I was finally free. But they and Keira thought I was useless and sold me to the remote village, squeezing out my last bit of value.
I suffered all kinds of torture and died in a dog cage.
Maybe because I lived such a cowardly life in my previous life, the universe decided to give me another shot.
This time, if Keira wanted to be Mrs. Pacheco, I would let her.
I would make a big scene, extort a sum of money, and hide away to live a happy life.
The Pacheco family and the Warren family would have nothing to do with me anymore.
I timed it perfectly and deliberately made a fuss that the groom was missing, dragging the guests around to look for him.
When we found the bridal suite, we saw Keira, wrapped in a torn bridesmaid dress and wearing Oscar's groom suit, walk out of my room.
"I'm so sorry, Jenna. I didn't mean for this to happen. I was drunk and ended up in the wrong room. I didn't expect Oscar to be drunk too," Keira said.
She kept up the act but "accidentally" let the red marks on her neck show.
We both had that sweet, innocent look, but Keira was always the bossy one. She couldn't even bow her head when apologizing, and the greed in her eyes was impossible to hide.
Oscar leaned against the doorframe with his shirt half open, looking casual. "Don't blame me. How was I supposed to know? You two look practically identical."
Hearing this, all the guests stopped complaining about being tired and took out their phones to film this shocking gossip.
Oscar still looked indifferent, staring at me with something like expectation in his eyes.
I had no clue what he was hoping for, but I really wanted to slap him.
I would never have dared to do that in my previous life.
I had been taught to be a good girl since I was a child and was used to not fighting back. When I grew up, I got used to enduring injustice and lived a cowardly life.
Fortunately, I had a sudden realization before I died in the remote village. I understood that being kind to others was being cruel to myself.
I had just raised my hand when red texts appeared one after another on the ceiling.
