"Welcome to Copenhagen, Ms. Summers," the customs officer greeted me with a smile as he stamped my passport.

He gave me a friendly smile and pressed the stamp onto my passport.

I said "tak" and pulled my suitcase out into the arrivals hall.

Copenhagen in September was colder than I'd imagined, and the air was so clean it felt like it had just been washed.
