Twice Betrayed, Twice Loved

Synopsis

During the war between two kingdoms, Chancellor Matthew Richards used me as a hostage to exchange for the daughter of a captured loyal minister. Someone asked him, "But Princess Cecilia is your favorite. Why choose her?" He answered, calm and detached, "I just wanted some peace and quiet." For three years, I endured unimaginable torment in enemy lands. Finally, Matthew remembered me... and came to take me home. When we met again, just as he wished, I was no longer willing to go near him, not even a step. But he regretted it. And now, he wanted me to love him again.
