Chapter 1
The silly guy I picked up, David Bennett, had been staring at my butt a lot lately.
Sometimes he even hugged me and called me "honey."
I finally couldn't take it anymore and pushed him away, snapping, "I'm not your honey."
David looked startled, his eyes brimming with tears, lashes fluttering as he softly whimpered, "Honey."
My heart softened for a second. "Fine, call me whatever you want," I said.
Anyway, he didn't know anything.
A month later, I saw a missing person notice posted by the family of a bigwig in Benana.
Wait, didn't that look exactly like David?
That night, David, who had already gotten his memories back, rested his head against my neck.
Meanwhile, he brushed against me casually.
With a calm, dangerous tone, he said, "Looks like you've found out, my honey."

David saw me coming home and immediately threw himself at me, wrapping his arms around my waist.
I asked him without looking up, "What show did you watch today?"
David lowered his ridiculously handsome face and replied, "The CEO's Obsession."
I couldn't help but laugh and reached up, tapping him on the forehead.
"Stop watching so much of that stuff, or sooner or later, you'll end up with bad brains," I said.
Then I suddenly remembered that he didn't have healthy brains right now anyway.
Standing at more than 6 feet, he had an aloof, noble face and lashes so long they practically curled.
His skin was so perfect it almost looked luminous.
It was a pity that his brain was not very good. He acted like a seven or eight-year-old.
I let out a regretful sigh.
He could've been the guy of my dreams. Now he was just my kid instead of my dream man.
I said with disdain, "I'm not your honey. One day, I'm going to marry a CEO type, someone with an IQ of 150."
David blinked cluelessly, not understanding, and reached out to hug me again. "Honey."
I dodged him and said, "Don't think you can just get away with it because you don't know anything. Don't touch me!"
He might act and talk like a kid, but at the end of the day, he was a full-grown man.
Having a grown, strange man wrap his arms around me seriously gives me the creeps.
I hadn't been in love yet.
I couldn't let this silly guy take advantage of me first.
"Eat," David said.
While I was lost in thought, he came over with a bowl of noodles topped with a fried egg. The smell was amazing.
I looked at him in surprise and asked, "You actually know how to make noodles?"
Seeing the shy, hopeful look in his eyes, I couldn't help but pat his head and added, "Good boy."
I picked up the bowl, took a couple of bites, and nearly spit it out.
What the hell? Is this his way of thanking me? Did he cook these noodles in seawater or something? It was so salty I had to chug water.
David stared at me, clearly confused. "What's wrong?" he asked.
Just one glance at his eyes told me he honestly hadn't meant it.
"Does it taste bad?" he asked.
His head drooped in disappointment, looking totally bummed out.
Seeing him like that made my heart go soft, so I quickly reassured him, "It's delicious, so good I could die!"
With him staring at me all hopeful, I gritted my teeth and ate all of them.
After eating, I hid the noodle bag out of sight.
I knew he really wanted to help out. But take it easy for now.
After I drank three bottles of water, the saltiness finally faded.
I lay in bed, feeling like I was about to die.
"Honey..." David lingered at the doorway, his eyes big and timid as he looked at me.
I said with a helpless sigh, "Tomorrow, try watching something else."
But suddenly, another thought popped into my head.
He watched "The CEO's Obsession" and started calling me "honey."
If he watched a war drama tomorrow, what would he start calling me?
Oh my god. Just picturing it, that was seriously creepy.
If he watched some palace drama, what would he call me?
He picked things up way too fast. I couldn't let my guard down.
I would better just lock the TV.
When I first met David, it was behind a hole-in-the-wall restaurant.
He was just lying flat on his back in the grass.
He was filthy, his clothes dirty and covered in scuff marks.
There was a nasty, bloody gash on his head. That scared the hell out of me.
Without hesitation, I took him straight to the hospital.
When I went to see him the next day, David was already awake, crying, and making a fuss to leave.
He even yanked out the IV drip from his hand.
His face was pale and looked so weak and thin.
But as soon as he saw me, he strangely calmed down.
The next second, he reached out, arms wide open, acting like a big baby. "Hug me, he said.
I was stunned. What was he doing? Was he trying out some weird new cosplay?
When I just stood there, not reacting for a while, he suddenly let out a loud wail and started crying.
