Chapter 3
Felix's Point Of View:
'Stop staring!'
Renata looked beautiful and that was my excuse to stare at her.
I looked her up and down, and realised I was doing something teenagers called 'checking her out'.
I diverted my gaze towards the pavement, turned and walked towards Asher where he stood smirking.
Don't even think about it Asher.
"Hey!
You guys look very handsome," Renata said winking playfully.
I was wearing a plain black shirt with black skinny jeans -they are very tight- and some Converse (whatever they are).
I had on my skull ring but I didn't have my sword sadly.
It was at the small apartment Asher had rented.
I asked him what I would do if a monster showed up and he replied with 'Call your skeleton buddies!
Or better yet, Jean-Bastien!'
"Thanks Renata!
Now, let's go," Asher said for both of us.
Paula lived just around the corner to Renata and her house was pretty easy to spot.
It's huge and right now, the front lawn is covered with Coca Cola cans and root beer cups.
I take a deep breath as we walk up to Paula's huge house.
This is my first ever party.
We all stop for a moment and then open the door to Paula's house.
The music which is blasting from the speakers is pretty loud and everyone is dancing.
There are huge pictures of Paula everywhere and up the front there stood the real Paula waving to everyone sitting on one of those chairs that look like something only royals can sit on.
She stands up and I see what she is wearing...Oh my gods.

Renata's Point Of View:
What is Paula wearing?
Wait, is she even wearing anything?' I ask myself.
Paula was dressed in the tightest and shortest dress in human history.
Wait, now that I look at it, it wasn't even a dress.
It was a small, like very small crop top with the neck so low I had to close my eyes when she bended down to pick up her sandals.
And paired with that horrendous shirt was a pair of booty short shorts.
And I meanshort.
Felix whispered to me,"What in the Vaelor is she wearing?"
I ignored the Vaelor part and replied,"Only she knows.
I think it is a crossover between a bathing suit and a pair of shorts and a normal crop top."
He laughed lightly and I realized this was the second time I had ever talked to Felix.
And it was also the first time I had heard him laugh.
His laugh was so cute.
It also wasn't forced which was a good thing.
"I'll get some punch!" Asher said.
I nodded and started heading towards a spot at the edge of the dance floor.
"Come on!" I yelled to Felix over the sound of Taylor Swift's 'Blank Space'.
He nodded quickly before walking over to edge with me.
We stood there in silence and when Felix finally said something...
"I'm going to go look for Asher!" he shouted and quickly made his way across the room.
I said okay and watched him push through everyone.
I sighed and when a couple of boys came up to me I rejected them because I felt weird.
'What is taking them so long?' I thought.
I pushed through the hormonal and sweaty bodies of the teenagers trying to find Felix and Asher.
I had just noticed that Paula had disappeared.
'Wow!
Great move birthday girl!'
I was about to move along when I heard someone shout my name.
"Renata!" I saw Felix and Asher running towards me.
Asher runs funny!'
But that was it until I heard the agonizing scream of Paula Saunders.
Felix and Asher reached me in time to grab both my arms and making me run towards the pool area.
"What's going on?" I yelled at them.
Felix was about to answer when I saw it.
People running around like mad men and human head with a bull's body holding Paula in the air...what?
Renata's Point Of View:
"What in the world is that?
!" I screamed at Felix.
"It's called a Vrakos and it's here foryou," Asher says quickly.
I was shocked.
Why would a bull be here for me?
"Renata, we need you to go home and ask your mom to pack your bags.
Ask her about the Vrakos because right now Felix and I have to kill that thing and save Paula," Asher said and pushed me towards the door that led to the garden out in the front of the mansion.
Right now my mind is pretty jumbled so I did what he had said.
"Wait!
Will I see you guys again?" I turn around.
Both of them nodded.
I turned and ran towards the gate taking one last glance back at my friends for a day.
Vrakos, Felix and Asher, Paula and kill were the only things running through my mind as I swung the gate open and ran out to the street and towards my house.
Felix's Point Of View:
"Felix!
Look out!" I heard Asher yell as I ran closer to the Vrakos.
The only thing I saw was the fist of the Vrakos coming towards me before I ducked out of the way.
The Vrakos had long dropped Paula to the ground which had caused her to scream and run away from the whole scene.
Asher took out his reed pipes and quickly played a little tune which caused grass and vines to grow from the ground.
The vines wrapped around the bulls legs and pulled it down.
The Vrakos got up and tried to tug at his feet but they were planted.
At least for awhile.
"Felix now would be a great time to call your skeleton buddies," Asher said before moving out of the of the Vrakos's almighty punch towards him.
Asher's Point Of View:
I watched as Felix closed his eyes and suddenly the ground around him spilt open and skeleton soldiers came out.
He fell to the ground and suddenly the Vrakos got himself free and looked directly towards Felix.
But before it could attack, the skeletons launched themselves at the bull and jabbed their swords here and there.
While the Vrakos was distracted, I quickly ran to Felix's aid.
He looked very weak and I knew he was about to faint any minute.
"Felix, don't give up on me now!" I say to him smiling.
He nodded before making an attempt to get up and containing his balance.
I turned to see that the skeletons had by now defeated the bull and we're retreating to the ground.
We'd managed to get Renata out of here but the Vrakoss attack had proven that we needed to take her to Camp Crossborn tomorrow.
And fast.
Her scent was pretty strong and I think...
I know this sounds ridiculous... but she may or may not be a daughter of the Prime Three.
