Chapter 2
Felix's Point Of View:
"Asher, this is a very bad idea!
This is wrong, we can't do this!
It's their private conversation!
And besides, it's very awkward to go in... there," I shudder as I whisper to Asher who was crouching next to me.
At times, Asher's had his stupid set of ideas, but this is the worst.
"Felix, we have to keep an eye on her, what if some monster showed up...
Huh?
Think about that!
We have to keep her safe!" He says.
Even though he's right, I'm not going into a shop called 'Celeste's Veil'.
"No way!
You can go, but I'm not going in there," I say with finality and get up from behind the potted plant to go to the food court.
I'm not taking any action in Asher's plans however tempting they may be.
(You have no proof I saidtempting.)
"Fine!
We won't go!" Asher says pouting while trying to run with his fake feet.
Don't wanna' go alone do ya' buddy?
"We can wait," I say shrugging.
He nods as if to acknowledge what I had just said but the only thing going inside that sylvok's head is 'Girls' and 'Food'.

We saw her walk out of that shop about 20 minutes later.
Her elder sister who looked about 18, was talking on the phone while carrying some bags.
Renata looked bored out of her mind.
I bet her sister was one of those typical blonde (Yes, her sister's blonde!) girls.
I hate them with their boyfriends and tiny dresses and girly things.
He turned for a second before spotting us and waving.
We waved back and Asher called her over.
Suddenly, all the things I knew about how to respire disappeared and my breath got stuck in my lungs.
"Felix, try to exhale, its nice," Asher said teasingly just before she walked over.
"Hey guys!
Funny seeing you here!" she says smiling.
"We were just out for lunch.
Wanna' join?" Asher asks smiling back.
I stay quiet because I knew if I speak I would say something wrong.
"I'll just ask my sister!" she says before running off.
~*~
Renata's Point Of View:
"Hey Ruby, can I go with my friends?" I ask my annoying elder sister.
"Sure, whatever!
Be home by 8:00!" She says before walking off chatting with her man-whore boyfriend.
Or should I sayboyfriends.
I quickly walk towards Felix and Asher eternally cheering I don't have to spend the day with my slutty sister trying on lingerie.
"Hey guys!" I say before taking a seat.
"So...
Are you guys going to Paula's party?" I ask them.
I was invited but Paula doesn't seem to like me very much after today's seating (Yeah, she's still angry!).
"Nope!
We were invited but we didn't feel like going!" Asher says before nudging Felix to say something.
He just nods.
I didn't feel like going but with these guys, it will be fun even if I don't know them that much.
And Willow's going so cheers!
"Well dress up boys, because we are going to the party of the year!" I say grinning like a maniac.
Renata's Point Of View:
"I'll see you guys later!" I yelled from my front door towards my friends.
Felix and Asher waved back and I finally turned and opened my door.
I had gotten to know them a lot during our time at the mall together and they were actually pretty cool.
Well, I knew Asher mostly, since Felix didn't talk that much.
Felix was very mysterious and dark which attracted me towards him more than ever.
We were all planning to go to Paula's birthday bash at her mansion.
Yes, she lives in a mansion.
I wasn't going to go, but my best friend Willow was going.
I said no at first but now because I wanted to hang out with the guys more so I said yes.
I had texted Willow that she would meet me there and she literally squealed with joy, eventually making me deaf for 20 minutes.
I walked into our hallway before hearing my mother call out,"Renata?
Is that you?"
I nodded stupidly before realising that she couldn't see me.
"Yes, it's me!" I said before going to the direction of her voice.
I entered our small kitchen to see Ruby on her phone as always sitting at the table and mom by the stove.
Hum... wonder where Zion is.'
My mom married Zion after I was 12.
My dad had left us when I was born.
Mom said he was a very sweet man and he could have had his reasons but I still hated him for leaving my mother and I. Though Zion was a nice man, I hated Ruby!
She was 17 and just plain snobby.
I especially hated it when mom and Zion left her to babysit me and she would invite one of her man-whore boyfriends over.
I still can't the images out of my head when I accidentally walked into her room when she was with her boyfriend.
"Hey mom!" I said before sitting at the table.
"Hi sweetheart!" she said before taking the lasagne of the stove.
My mouth drooled at the delicious smell.
"Mom, can I go to a party with my friends?" I asked her slowly.
Now, my mom is very amazing when it comes to going somewhere like parties.
Since I'm very socially awkward, she lets me go anywhere as long as I have fun and don't do something stupid.
"Sure!
When is it?" she asked.
"Tonight," I said.
"Do you have something to wear?" she asked turning so that I could see her face.
My mom was very beautiful and she looked very young even though I was 15.
I nodded and noticed that during this whole conversation Ruby was not making a snarky remark about me or my society problems.
Hmm... weird.
I smiled before quickly heading upstairs to get ready.
I was finPaula ready at 10.
I had curled my usually straight hair making it wavy.
I was wearing a flowing white blouse with red high waisted shorts.
I put on my new black Converse and applied some blush and lipgloss.
When I was done I grabbed my iPhone and my other essentials and put them into a cute little red and black hand bag.
I texted Asher and finally got a message that said:
We oitsibe daar?
Cime!
Asher
I looked at the message before interpreting it into this:
We outside door!
Come!
Nice English, Asher!
Ever heard of spelling?
Maybe Felix wrote it since he was dyslexic like me.
I shook my head before looking at myself one more time in my full length mirror before finally going out of my room and down the stairs.
I said goodbye to my mother before leaving the house to see Felix coming up our driveway.
When he saw me he stopped and for moment he just stood there and stared.
I blushed before realising he was checking me out.
'Stop blushing!'
