I ignored the chaos behind me and walked straight out of that disgusting office.

My phone was blowing up.

It was all calls and texts from Michael.

There were also a few messages from my coworkers. One of the older colleagues I was close with messaged me. [Emily, don't let it get to you. Michael was just ranting about you in the office, calling you dramatic, but nobody bought it.
