Chapter 10

Julia paced to and fro in the room, she was already getting tired of waiting.

“That devil must have left me here to suffer.” She said to herself.

“Fuck you!” Julia yelled when she had presumed there was no one around.

Suddenly, she heard a click on the door, someone was there for her. She jumped happily as she stood and waited for the door to open.

In two strides, someone entered, his face looking, well, angry. It was her boss.

Why was he here? She asked herself.

Don examined her with roving eyes, but said nothing.

Julia's heart thudded. Had he heard her cuss?

She hoped he hadn't.

Don walked towards her and grabbed her arm angrily, he did not say a word, but it was clear to her; he was not in a good mood now.

What was he going to do to her? She wondered.

Only one response was in her mind. Sex, obviously.

Wasn't that the reason why he had brought her? To be his sex toy.

Soon, his grip on her arm became too tight, she struggled to release her arm from him but he jerked her forward.

Now very angry, she shot him a look, but his demeanor told her not to spill a word. He had always held him with a strict face but this was more than that.

“Why did you come all the way here if you knew you would manhandle me like this?” Julia managed to whisper to herself amidst the cold energy.

To her, his expression meant nothing to her. She had no regard for him personally. He is cruel and she hates cruel people.

Don came to a halt when they got to the living room, a spacious elegantly designed room that stood in the middle of the mansion.

Standing in the center of the room was a woman in her 40s with a black and white outfit which resembled a uniform and duster in hand. Julia immediately noticed her as “Mrs Lorenzo”, the head of the house servants.

She is in charge of dishing out orders and inspecting the work done.

Julia wondered why she was brought here.

Does he have another thing in mind?, She thought.

On seeing the boss, Mrs Lorenzo hurriedly walked to him in a respectful manner.

“Good day, sir” She said with a bow.

Julia looked at Don's expressionless face, and back at the elderly woman.

With his low regard for people, Julia has come to the conclusion that he is just an arrogant man.

“This is my new servant,” Don started, increasing his hold on her, “She would be serving me and I want you to supervise as well as train her to get her job done well.”

Julia's eyes widened as she stared at the lady in shock.

How dare he treat her like a little girl!

Don then loosened his hold on her and she quickly pulled her arm out. He turned to go, then turned back, “I want you to train her like the others. Any mistake would be on you, and you know I hate mistakes.”

“Yes sir” Mrs Lorenzo answered as Don strode out of the room.

“First of all, we will get you a uniform.” The woman started.

“Wait. A what?” Julia asked in surprise, but there was no response as her trainer was already walking towards the door.

Don got back to his study room to meet Marcello and the guards. The guards fell on their knees on seeing him walk in.

“Pardon us, boss. We had no idea she belonged to you.” The man with a scar begged.

“Please boss. We caught her trying to escape and wanted to punish her like the way you instructed us to do.”

On hearing that, Don walked directly to the man and landed a blow on his face.

“She is different! Not like the others and only I have authority over her.” He yelled, then walked to where the man with the scar was.

“Did you leave her to starve for hours? Why did you not report to me before taking any action?”

The man kept quiet. He knew he wasn't supposed to utter a word.

Don picked him up, pinned him against the wall and gave him a blow on his stomach causing the scared-face man to growl.

Then he left him to fall to the ground, he turned to face Marcello, “Take them out and make sure they get what they deserve.”

“Yes, boss,” Marcello said and proceeded to get it done.

Julia, dressed in her new uniform stared at herself in the mirror in her room before she was interrupted by Mrs Lorenzo.

“Work begins, Miss Julia,” She said with a strict look before adding, “You should not be in here admiring yourself. You are here to work and please the boss.”

Julia rolled her eyes secretly.

Fuck the boss! Fuck Donatello Rossini!!
