Chapter 2
Edwin chanced a glance towards Lance. He was opened mouthed like he wanted to say something but didn't know what. Edwin needed to clarify then. With another deep sign, "Of you, of the attention you give the other people, men. Of what you do with the other men.
T-that it's...
." He swallowed, this was hard.
"That what Edwin?" Lance asked softly.
"That...
that...
.That it wasn't ME!"
He face was so red, Edwin felt the blush all the way to his toes. Please don't let Lance hate him now. Maybe Edwin never new because Lance didn't want him to, did want him period. Friends and nothing more.
Oh man, ask him yesterday and the thought of just being friends with Lance would have been wonderful, but now, knowing what he does, having that clarity of his feelings, it hurt too much to think he could never be more.
*
Edwin wanted it to be him?
His Edwin, the sexist, most off limits guy in his mind, was upset that Lance had not considered him?
This was just...
surreal. He had wanted Edwin since the moment he saw him. But after he got to know him, heard how much he kept to himself and didn't let others in, well he couldn't find it in himself to chance that.
Looking at Edwin, Lance could clearly see the embarrassment and fear, but also hope.
"What does this mean, Edwin?" Lance was hesitant, he wanted so much but again he did not want to risk his friendship with the man.
"I don't know...
.I mean could you...
.do you feel anything for-for me?" Who was this guy I front of him. Edwin may not like to talk and hang around others but he never sounded insecure and unsure of himself. Goodness how could he not feel anything for him?
"Of course I do, I just don't want anything to happen to our friendship." Lance pleaded with his eyes, hoping he would understand that it was too important.
He started to get a little worried when Edwin's look change from unsure to its normal confidence, but also heated. He swallowed, what has he gotten himself into?
"Nothing will change there, because you matter to me too. I think that you matter to me more than you should. That's why I feel so close to you, why I can tolerate you when I can with no one else." Edwin stood and moved closer to him. The nerves where high, his breathing accelerated, but Lance couldn't stop find it in himself to protest and Edwin moved into his personal space. "Show me. Show what you do with those other guys."
"O-Ok."
Lance reached up and pulled Edwin's face closer to his. Dragging their lips together, Edwin's hat fell to the floor.
The moment they touch lips both men knew this was right, with a moan from each, they deepened the kiss. Tongues tangled and caressed. The kitchen filled with the sounds of passion and joy.
Lance came to his senses a little realizing he had to make sure Edwin was really enjoying this like he seemed. He pulled back to look into the other man's copper eyes. What he saw shocked him. Edwin had the look of pure passion and desire. There was not even a hint of doubt in his expression.
"Can we do more?" Edwin asked looking eagerly at his best friend.
Lance chuckled, feeling light with joy. "Yes, we can do whatever you want, go as far as you want. As long as you promise it is want you want, and that well will still be friends in the morning." At the end he gave Edwin a serious look.
"I promise." He grabbed Lance's hand and led him into his bedroom.

Edwin was nervous about the new experiences, but he couldn't help but feel this was right. This was supposed to happen, and it was supposed to happen with Lance. He looked to the other man, seeing the dark hair and green eyes that had always appealed to him. Now he knew why.
He grabbed Lance and pulled him close. Edwin captured his lips and continued where they left off in the kitchen. He didn't really know what he was doing but figured if it was wrong then Lance would tell him or just take control. Win win either way.
The kiss heated up even more, Edwin need to touch the other man so bad; he pulled Lances shirt from his tight blue jeans and shoved his hands underneath. The warm skin of the other mans back was intoxicating. He need more. Edwin ripped open his shirt and ran his hands up Lances chest. Lance must have know what he need and wanted the same because Edwin felt the chill on his skin as his shirt was also disposed of.
Lance broken of the kiss and trailed down to his neck sucking and licking, driving Edwin out of his mind. Just when he thought he could not take anymore, Lance growled and pushed Edwin roughly onto the bed.
"God I've wanted you so freaking bad since the moment I saw you."
"I thought it was normal, the way I saw you; that everyone knew how hot you were. Not that I was attracted to you. But now, I don't know how I didn't realize it before."
With his statement, Edwin heard a whimper sound from the man just as Lance started kissing him with renewed passion. Edwin groaned as he felt the weight of Lance's hips on his groin. Bucking up he knew he wanted more but was unsure of what.
Lance looked in him in the eyes once more and gave him a wicked look.
"I know what you want." He winked and slithered down Edwin's flushed body, stopping at his jeans.
