Silent Songs for a Distant Us

Synopsis

Jolie Stone carried a quiet, long-held love for her closest friend Karim Valdez. When Karim told her he planned to marry Lana Walker and asked Jolie to serve as bridesmaid, her heart shattered. Jolie aimed for the Peyton scholarship at her music audition in Lyrewood, yet panic overwhelmed her upon seeing Karim with Lana. She stumbled through her performance, only to catch the eye of Nehemiah Villalobos. A devastating car crash left Karim badly injured. Jolie soon uncovered Lana's lies—the child she carried was not Karim's. Nehemiah offered Jolie another shot at the Peyton scholarship and grew fond of her. Torn between comforting broken Karim and pursuing new chances with Nehemiah, Jolie hesitated. After she shared an impulsive kiss with Karim, Nehemiah witnessed the moment and left without a word. Years later in Illyria, Jolie healed through her violin, still waiting for her own happy ending.
