Chapter 6
When Alpha Thunda heard some shuffling in the bush close by, at first he thought it was a rogue so he was ready to fight and protect himself, but then Erica pounced out.
“You have to be careful the way you barge in on me when I am hunting,” he rolled his eyes at her, and she kept to her smiles.
She had vowed to tolerate his excesses and clench a moment with him. Last night her wolf couldn’t let her sleep, and the only arms she wanted around her was that of the omega-puller, the most craved and most wanted across all the packs.
Alpha Thunda himself.
“I brought you a gift,” she took out the diamond band and handed over to him, she was grateful he accepted it and quickly wore it on his wrist.
“This looks beautiful on you,” he took a contagious look at it and stroked the delicate band. “I am grateful. Thank you.”
“You didn’t show up at our moon light party yesterday night. And did you receive my father’s invitation?” she asked anxiously.
He hesitated, squinted at her and tossed his head. “I was too busy, too busy for frivolities.”
“Frivolities?” she retorted, “My father wanted me to choose a mate last night,” she lowered her gaze as Thunda kept gathering his hunt, his silence kept , giving her the cold shoulders as if she hadn’t made a comment. Have you cared to ask me how I got the diamond band?”
“You are royalty,” he replied and got busier, “I shouldn’t be asking you. Or did you steal it?”
She chuckled and found it more hilarious. Perhaps, this was the only humor she had gotten from him.
“That is a parting gift from my mother. She said the only alpha that shall wear it shall be my mate.”
He paused and cast a glance at the band and forcefully took it off. “Take your band. I can’t recall scenting you as my mate.”
She refused to take the band. “I scented you, Thunda. On that day in your bed, when my eyes opened, you became mine. Your rosy heady scent still makes me horny.”
She forcefully kissed him.
“Stop this, Erica!” he snapped and wiped his lips. “I only saved your life and that is all. I can’t have any mate. Scenting any mate right now is not my priority so get your wolf fixed and turn your desires to another alpha. I am not ready and will never.”
“Even the sound of your voice, and the delicate stares of your eyes on my body makes me want to have you right now,” she began to get closer to him, “Please don’t reject me, Thunda.” She grabbed his muscular arms, “Make love to me. I can’t endure this drive anymore.”
“Stop this, Erica. Start going. I am done hunting.”
He dared to push her way and she held on to his pants.
“Please, Thunda, fuck me. I have been wet for you from the moment you saved my life.”
She knelt before him.
“You are asking for the impossible. You are not my mate. I don’t want to have a mate.”
“No, I know what I scented,” she whispered , her tone lustful and hooked with intense desire. She grabbed him on the waist. “Ok even if you don’t want to fuck me, let me give you a head. I don’t mind. Please.”
He finally earned a freedom when he pushed her and she almost smashed her head. He rushed to her and grabbed her neck.
“I am sorry. I didn’t intend to hurt you,” he cast a look at her head to ensure she didn’t hurt herself.
“I am fine,” she assured him, but I will never be if you keep rejecting me. Please, Thunda. Don’t make me regret being saved by you. You are mine, and my heart can only pair with yours.”
“You don’t know anything about me, just let me be, Erica.” He began to walk toward his carriage.
“How long are you going to keep rejecting me?” she followed him, “I mentioned my father, you became coldhearted toward me, and now I just revealed we are destined for…”
“We don’t have any destiny together.” He cast striking glance at her, “Go to my pack and across the packs, they have never seen me with any omega and I am fine without a mate.”
“What about me?” she stood in his way, stopping him from riding away. “I have never been myself since I found you. Even my father said good stuff about you , haven’t you wonder the same man you hate so much sent you an invitation to be chosen by her daughter. Why are you doing this?”
He shut his eyes in exhaustion. “Leave the way, Erica. I don’t owe you any explanation. My business with you ended the moment I took you back to your father. Let me be, Erica. You are getting me embarrassed.”
She stood her ground, her jaw clenched in utter dismay.
“I know you want me to run into you with this carriage but I am not going to do it,” Thunda lost his poise.
Furiously, he reversed his carriage and took the other exit.
She stood, willing to run after him but restrained by the wolf in her.
“What is he up to? Doesn’t’ he like my scent? Has he tried to see how sweet I am in bed? I wish I could earn a chance with him.” She wondered. “Oh moon goddess please make this fate a reality. I can’t lose him.”
