"Fat bitch!" I turn to see the same girls from yesterday.
I've only been here for two weeks and already got bitches bothering me.
"What now?" This is my last class today!
Then I can go home!
"Who said you can cling to Nova huh?
You must be out of your fucking mind!"
"I don't have time for this." I said gathering my things.
They are not about to get me today.
"Make time bitch!
And we ain't say you could leave!"
"Ladies in the back!
Is there a problem?" My teacher shouted from his desk.
"No!" We all said.
I looked at the clock and saw I had another minute in this class.
Then I looked at the door and saw Nova waiting across the hall
"What you smiling for?
Just you wait, when class ends I'm beating hat ass!" Why the fuck are they bothering me?
Well let's just sayherboyfriend grabbed all on me so I kneed him in the balls.
But ya know, I was all over him.
The bell rung and I walked towards the door.
I'm NOT some punk bitch.
I don't do running.
"Did you do something differently?
I swear you look even more beautiful than you did earlier." Nova said while walking towards me.
Everyone stared in shock and I just wanted to disappear.
"God, where do you come up with this stuff?" She just looked at me with a smile.
"Hmn?

I don't know.
I just think about it when I see you." She said and tried reaching for my hand but I put it in my pocket.
She narrowed her eyes in confusion then pouted.
Nova is strange but in a good way.
"Not so fast girl." I said and started laughing.
"What do you want for lunch?" She asked me and I thought about.
We've had nothing but fatty foods... and I don't need any of that.
"Can you cook?" She looked confused again, why do I find that so cute?
"Cook?
I can if you want me to.
But I can't guarantee it will be good."
"That's a no then!" I said while laughing.
Nova cracked a little smile and rolled her eyes.
When we made it to her car she opened the door for me but I glared at her.
"I'm not gonna do anything."
"Oh!
Like how youdidn'tpalm my butt this morning?" She smiled a big toothy grin.

"Okay Nova, time for your annul check up.
And be yourself."Dr.
Sloane said as I sat on the small bed.
A smiled and changed to my real self.
"How's it going?" I asked but she just scrolled down her tablet.
"I should be the one asking that...
Greer tells me you're talking to someone?
Are you sexually active Nova?" She asked.
"I wish." I mumbled and she poked me in the side.
"Hey!
That hurts!" I say rubbing my side.
I had fell pretty hard during one of my test and it still hurts.
"Look Nova.
No matter how strong the urge is you must stop yourself and your lover.
We can't risk that." I rolled my eye and laid down.
"I'm gonna die old, alone, and a virgin!" Sloane just shook her head at me.
"I really wish I could cheer you one like Greer but I can't.
It's not safe."
"I know!

You guys tell me all the time." I huffed and rolled to my side facing away from her.
"Now Nova... we just want you to be safe.
Now get up, I need to finish."
When I got home Father Vaughn was there.
He smiled when he saw me and gave me a hug.
"Hey Dad.
You're home?"
"Oh Greer I'm getting so old now, do you see how big she is?
!" He shouted to Momma and they both laughed.
"I know!
I saw that all the time!" We walked to the kitchen and they had completely destroyed it.
Well I believe Dad did, he can't keep anything clean.
I sighed, cleaning the kitchen was one of my chores.
"Don't worry sweetie, I'll clean this mess." Dad said laughing.
Then my phone vibrated in my pocket, it was Romy.
"Oh!
Who'sLover?" I get out of his hold and sit in the dinning room.

I thought about it.
I don't really do anything on Saturdays.

I smiled putting my phone back in my pocket.
Romy is such a funny thing.
I got up and walked back to the kitchen, Dad was washing the dishes and Momma was sitting on the counter eating some spicy chips.
"So how's it going with the girl Nova?" Momma asked before shoving some more chips in her mouth.
Dad looked up too and smiled.
"Better, we are going out tomorrow."
"Honey!
It's Nova's first date!" Momma said happily.
"Hmn, I'm basically useless in this situation.
I can't intimidate her..." Dad joked and we all laughed.
"Yeah Hun, Nova is the one who gets intimidated."
"Momma.
If I wanted to I could send a human flying." She rolled her eyes.
"Speaking of humans, why are you still in that form?
You're home now." Dad said.
I didn't even notice.
I took a deep breath and changed.
I touched my face to feel my features.
Yep, back to normal.
Dad smiled then continued cleaning.
"I only have one thing to say Nova." Momma said while getting off the counter.
"Yes Momma?"
"Do NOT!
I repeat, DO NOT!
Pounce her on the first date.

"So what movie did you want to see?" I asked Romy while we walked through the mall.
I reached for her hand and she rolled her eyes.
"I wanna see the new princess movie, now let go!" She said trying to pull away.
I happily let go as we waited in line.
"Fine... so I'll hold you like this." I wrapped my arms around her waist and rested my head in the crook of her neck.
I smiled when I felt her heart beat faster.
She tried to pull away but I kept my hands locked around her waist.
"Nova!
Get off me!" I smiled and kissed her gently on the cheek.
"Y-You can hold my hand!" She said while breaking out of my hold, then offering me her hand.
I gladly took it and when it was our turn I paid for the tickets.
"We are gonna wait a while.
Want do you wanna do?" I asked her and she looked around.
"They have a book store here, lets go there."
"Oh?
A book nerd huh?" I teased.
"Yep!
And I'm not ashamed of it!" She said trying to pull away from me but I pulled her back to me.
Romy gave me an annoyed look but to me it was just cute.
"It's cute..." I said and we continued to the store.
The second we walked in Romy pulled me to the YA section and scanned the bookshelf.
"Aha!
Nova, they have the third issue!" She said picking up some red book with a guy on it.
It looked reallywonderlandlike.
"Do you want it?
I'll get it for you."
"I can pay for this!
But you HAVE to read this series.
It's so good!
Like it's crazy!" She said showing me the others on the shelf.
"Okay then." I grabbed the other two but she snatched them and put them back.
"I already have them, you can borrow mine." She reached for my hand and we walked to the front to pay for the book.
When she gave Romy the price I payed for it while Romy was going through her messy purse.
Romy playfully slapped my arm as I held the bag.
"What was that for!

"I said I would do it Nova!"
"Next time.
I promise I'll let you do it." Romy sighed and held my hand while resting her head on my arm.
"We have a few more minutes.
Let's get some snacks and then go to watch the movie?"
"Sounds good."
"Oh that was so good!
That badass slow motion walk she did!

We gotta see this movie again Nova!" Romy gushed as I drove her home.
She has been talking nonstop.
"I liked the chicken." He was funny and oddly cute.
Then I felt my stomachs rumble.
Should I ask Romy if she's hungry?
She didn't like it the first time.
But I have to eat a lot of food...
"I heard that Nova!
Pull over and get something to eat." She said pointing at the smoothie shop.
I looked at her like she was crazy.
"I'm not gonna get full off a smoothie Romy."
"It sells other foods too!
They make the best grilled chicken sandwiches ever!"
"Okay okay." I pull into an empty parking spot and we got out.
Romy practically skipped in. It was kinda busy and we ordered.
Romy ordered some sandwich and a smoothie.
I got three sandwiches and a smoothie.
"Damn Nova, you eat a lot!" Romy said while we sat down.
"I have to, I'm a growing girl." No but really, I have two stomachs.
"I wish I could eat and not gain anything." She said taking a bite of her sandwich.
"Romy you look perfect." She rolled her eyes and continued eating.
Human girls are so difficult.
"I had a lot of fun today Nova...thanks." Romy said as we walked to the front door.
"If you want, we can hang out tomorrow." I held her hand and she blushed.
"Okay.
Sounds fun, see you tomorrow?"
"See you tomorrow beautiful." I leaned in and kissed her on the forehead and she giggled.
"God!
You're so gross!" She laughed before walking in her house.
I turned and walked to my car.
That was fun, dating is not so bad.
