Chapter 1
After Hannah Leaf, Leon Grant's junior, sabotaged our wedding for the third time, Leon still chose her and left me alone at the ceremony.
He said, "I'll indulge Hannah just this one last time. I can't let her lose face in front of so many people."
That night, Hannah posted a new post.
[My Mr. Right ran out on his wedding for me again. Fate can't be stopped.]
I didn't cry or make a scene. I quietly took off my wedding dress.
Then I told the system, "I'm tired. Help me leave this world."

When Leon left me at the altar for the third time because of his junior, Hannah, I picked up the microphone and told everyone the wedding was off.
Most of the guests were his relatives from this world anyway, so if anyone should feel embarrassed, it was him.
Leon came back the next morning, the smell of alcohol still clinging to him.
He had brought croissants from my favorite bakery in the south of the city.
As he watched my expression, he said, "Evelyn, you saw what happened yesterday. I didn't have a choice.
"Still, I promise you this is the last time. At the next wedding, nothing will go wrong."
Right.
He could not bear to let Hannah lose face in front of a crowd, yet he could leave me standing alone at my own wedding.
How ridiculous.
We had been together for seven years, and I had waited so long for his proposal.
Yet on our wedding day, he ran off with Hannah, who came to stop the ceremony, and turned me into a joke.
All because she had chased after him for five years, and he felt he owed her.
Back in college, Leon once helped her with something minor, and Hannah fell for him completely.
She brought him breakfast every day, rain or shine, and confessed to him openly, even though she knew he had a girlfriend.
Leon went from finding her annoying to wearing a helpless, indulgent smile whenever he mentioned her.
At the first wedding, Hannah sprayed beer all over my dress and ruined the gown I had carefully chosen.
I was so angry my eyes turned red, but before I could say anything, she burst into tears and ran out. Leon accused me of overreacting and chased after her.
At the second wedding, just as Leon and I were exchanging rings, Hannah suddenly fainted. The ceremony turned into an emergency, and Leon rushed her to the hospital in a panic.
At the third wedding, Hannah showed up in a wedding dress to stop it outright. She stood below the stage, her eyes brimming with tears.
"Leon, I've been chasing after you for five years, stumbling all the way. Every time I gathered the courage to tell you how I feel, I failed.
"But I still want to try one more time for myself. Leon, I love you.
"Today, can you let me win just once?"
Leon glanced at me, and there was a flicker of struggle and guilt in his eyes.
"Evelyn, I'm sorry."
He lowered his voice as he explained, "I'll indulge Hannah just this one last time. I can't let her lose face in front of so many people."
Then he ran off the stage, took Hannah's hand, and made her victory clear through his actions.
I watched their backs as they ran off hand in hand, like a scene from a romance drama.
I thought I would chase after him like I had the first two times, crying and demanding an explanation.
But I stayed calm, almost detached, as if I were just an outsider watching them leave.
That night, Hannah uploaded a post in the early hours.
[My Mr. Right ran out on his wedding for me again. Fate can't be stopped.]
The photo showed her and Leon clinking beer bottles by the sea, carefree and unrestrained.
When I came back to myself, Leon was pushing the croissant toward me, his voice soft as if coaxing a child. "Still mad?"
Why would I be?
What does the next wedding have to do with me?
In one month, I will be leaving this world.
