I yanked my hand free from Lilly's grip, desperate to get away.

But she shoved me straight into the champagne tower nearby, and countless shards of broken glass stabbed into my skin.

The chandelier overhead suddenly snapped one of its chains and came crashing halfway down.

"Help!" I screamed.

"Gisselle!" Samuel shouted.

Samuel rushed over, trying to pull me up.

But then Lilly pouted softly, "I'm so scared," and Samuel immediately turned to shield her.

He just stood by, letting the whole chandelier crash down on me without lifting a finger.
