Chapter 1
The first time I visited my rich boyfriend's house, I got drunk and accidentally wandered into the wrong room.
That's how I ended up in bed with his brother by mistake.
He couldn't take it.
He sped off into the storm, and the next thing I knew, he was gone, killed in a car crash.
To get back at me, his brother went out of his way to humiliate and torment me.
He'd make me obey him and humiliate me in public, no matter where we were.
It wasn't until I broke down in tears and confessed I was nothing but a cheap girl who lured his brother that he finally let me off the hook.
When I opened my eyes, I was back to the day Charles Foster came to pick me up to meet his mother.
I found myself reliving that moment all over again.
This time, my voice was hoarse as I said, "No, let's never see each other again."

"Amber Moore, what are you talking about?" Charles said with a playful grin, taking my hand.
My boyfriend, Charles, grinned playfully and took my hand.
"Sorry about the traffic jam today, that's on me. My bad," he said.
I looked up, still in a haze, and jerked my hand away from Charles, shocked.
In my last life, it was right at this moment.
Right then, too.
Charles suddenly told me he was the Heir of the Capital Elite.
And insisted on dragging me home to meet his mother.
No one saw it coming.
That day, Mrs. Foster's flight got delayed because of the heavy rain.
His brother, Edward Foster, the head of the Foster Family, and his fiancée, Miss Quinn, welcomed us and played host.
They even set me up in a guest room for the night.
But the Foster Family's mansion was a total maze.
Drunk and stumbling around, I accidentally wandered into the wrong room.
Before I knew it, I was in bed with Edward Foster.
Miss Quinn broke down completely, crying her eyes out as she sped away in her car.
Charles rushed after her, trying to stop her for her own safety.
But out of nowhere, the car lost control and crashed into the guardrail.
They both died on the spot.
Edward lost the two people he cared about most in a single night.
He made me his wife out of pure spite, to get back at me.
After that, he never stopped tormenting and humiliating me, no matter the time or place.
He'd force me to cry under him, my whole body trembling with fear,
and wouldn't stop until I admitted again and again that I was nothing but a cheap whore who seduced men.
Locked away in the suffocating prison that was the Foster Family mansion, every day felt like endless torment, as if I'd fallen into the deepest pits of hell.
Each day was pure agony, like being trapped in a nightmare with no way out.
There was no end to the suffering, no hope of ever escaping that living hell.
Crushing fear and shame washed over me, leaving me paralyzed.
My voice shook as I whispered, "Charles, let's break up."
Charles couldn't believe what he was hearing.
He asked, "Amber, what are you saying?
"Honestly, I never meant to keep it from you that I'm part of the Foster family. I'm really sorry, okay?"
As he spoke, he grabbed my hand and playfully smacked his own handsome face with it a couple of times.
He gave me his best puppy-dog look and pleaded, "I'm sorry, okay? Who else would stick by you like I do if you leave me?"
I clenched my trembling hand.
Charles, that dumb blond idiot, really did treat me well.
In my last life, I'd been so smug about it.
I was so excited, thinking I'd struck gold and was about to become a queen overnight.
But later, I learned the hard way, when the rich and powerful decide to crush someone with no background, they don't hold back.
They can make you beg for death, but you can't even die if you want to.
Edward's cold, dangerous smile haunted me again.
My dad was lying at my feet, blood everywhere from the beating.
All those scenes of humiliation and torment flooded back.
I took a shaky step back.
The Foster Family.
I can't even dream of getting close to them now.
I stared Charles down, gritting my teeth, and said each word deliberately, "Charles, you're such a pain. You'll never be good enough for me, so don't ever try to chase me again."
Charles stood there, stunned, as I bolted, never once glancing back.
I ran, leaving him behind without a second thought.
As soon as I got home, I immediately blocked every social media and messaging account Charles could possibly use to contact me.
