After the gala, Martin still wouldn't give up. He kept buzzing around me like a pesky fly.

Then, out of nowhere, Alex strode over and kicked Martin to the ground. He looked drunk, and with the booze fueling him, he started beating Martin like he wanted to kill him.

The whole mess was finally broken up by the security guards. Everyone there was a big shot, and honestly, they'd seen this kind of drunken drama way too many times to even blink.
