Now, I drifted in the endless white light—waiting for her trembling to subside, for the seal to fully stabilize, and for the next blood moon to rise.

Suddenly, a violent tremor surged from deep inside my chest—not a physical shake, but a pulse in my blood, like every restless spirit of the Castine family howling at once.
