I realized, 'Oh, that's what this is about.'

With my crutches in my lap, I pushed my wheelchair as fast as it would go, crashing into the wall twice as I rounded the corner to get out of the room as quickly as possible.

James wouldn't even blink at the repair bill for the wall, anyway.

I made sure to close the door behind me to be considerate.

I wondered, 'Maybe if he sees how cooperative I am, he'll agree to the best facility.'

I sniffled.

'This is so frustrating,' I thought.
