Chapter 1
After I won a three-million-dollar lottery, my parents and younger sister suddenly told me they had traveled back from the future.
They claimed that on the first day of the new year, the end of the world would arrive. Everyone in my family would awaken superpowers, except for me. According to them, I would end up with nothing and be killed by zombies.
My mother said, "Ashlyn, this bracelet of Callie's is a storage bracelet. It might save your life when the end comes. But you know what they say, business is business. You have to trade your lottery ticket for it."
Looking at that utterly ordinary bracelet, I agreed without hesitation.
That same night, they kicked me out of the house.
My father said, "I don't know if you're truly stupid or just pretending. You believed such a lame lie.
"Get out now. We don't want a daughter as foolish as you. That three million dollars is all your sister's; you won't get a single cent of it."
I nodded and secretly took all the food supplies from home.
What they didn't know was this: while their "travel back from the future" was a lie, mine was real.
That bracelet really was a storage bracelet. And the end of the world would come tomorrow.

My mother said, "Ashlyn, this bracelet of Callie's is a storage bracelet. It might save your life when the end comes. But you know what they say, business is business. You have to trade your lottery ticket for it."
Her eyes were locked on my pocket, greed flickering within them.
I looked down at the bracelet in her hand.
It was probably the plainest, cheapest piece of jewelry Callie owned. It looked like it had been dug out from the back of a drawer, still covered in dust.
Even with a bracelet like that, Callie still pouted, looking totally reluctant, like she was doing me a huge favor just by letting me have it.
She said, "No matter how much money you have, it'll just be worthless paper when the end hits. We're doing this for your own good. Don't act like you don't know what's good for you."
"Yeah, Callie's only giving it to you because she feels sorry for you. Don't let her down, Ashlyn. Just hand over the lottery ticket," my dad added.
My dad stood there, acting like he was doing me a huge favor, as if I was the one making out like a bandit.
My mother was already reaching for my pocket, barely able to contain her excitement.
Watching them act like this, I was even more convinced they hadn't really come back from the future.
In my previous life, when the end of the world broke out, I was the only one in the family who unlocked any superpowers.
Zombies were rampaging outside, and they were too scared to leave the house. I had to go out alone, searching for food and killing zombies.
No matter what danger we faced, I always stood in front of them to protect them.
Under my protection, my whole family stayed safe until the rescue arrived, and we moved into the nearest base.
To help them live better, I took dangerous missions to earn points, narrowly escaping death countless times.
Later, Callie accidentally discovered that this bracelet was a storage bracelet.
They passed it off as Callie's superpower, and with the bracelet's hidden space, Callie climbed the ranks at the base.
Finally, during a zombie horde, they pushed me out to take the hit for Callie. I was ripped apart by zombies.
So when I traveled back, I went straight to the lottery store and bought the winning numbers I had heard about in my previous life. I told them about the jackpot, just so I could get that bracelet from them.
I took a step back, evading my mother's grasping hands.
"Alright, I agree," I said.
I pulled the lottery ticket out of my pocket and held out my hand, palm up.
"Hand it over and I'll do the same," I said.
My mother rolled her eyes, roughly shoved the bracelet into my hand, and eagerly snatched the ticket.
"You agreed to this yourself. Don't you dare try to back out later," she said.
I looked at them calmly.
"Don't worry, I won't back out. Just make sure you don't either," I said.
They carefully checked the numbers on the ticket, then couldn't wait to go out to claim the prize.
As soon as they were gone, I bit my fingertip and let a drop of blood fall onto the bracelet.
The blood was instantly absorbed, and the bracelet started glowing softly. A wave of energy swept over me, and I instinctively closed my eyes.
The next second, a space shimmering with a soft white light appeared before me.
I realized immediately that this was the hidden space inside the bracelet.
The space before me was vast and endless, stretching so far I couldn't see the edges, easily covering acres.
At the same time, cool and gentle energy seeped out from the bracelet, flooding through me and refreshing every part of my body.
Soon, my thin and weak body, which had suffered from long-term malnutrition, gradually became stronger, and even my complexion turned ruddy.
It reminded me of how it felt when my superpower evolved in my previous life.
I realized right away this bracelet wasn't just a simple storage space. No wonder Callie's status rose so quickly after she discovered it in my previous life.
