Chapter 4

I was crying, tears streaming down my face. "No, this isn't how friends treat each other! Don't touch me!"

The man grabbed my hair and slammed me against the door. "Isn't it? If you don't believe me, call Maurice."

He grabbed my phone and called Maurice. I desperately cried out, my voice choked with sobs.

"Maurice, help me!" I sobbed.

Maurice's voice was calm on the other end. "Yasmin, my friend just wants to meet you. Don't be so dramatic."

He called out his friend's name over the phone. "Don't waste your time arguing with her, just have some fun."
