Chapter 1
The club had a gathering, and my boyfriend's female department head straddled him.
Everyone around was egging it on.
When I tried to separate them, I was pushed to the ground.
The female department head, Riley Blake, said, "It's just a little dare. You're really overreacting. That's just how I am. Carefree and playful. If it bothers you, just don't treat me like a girl."
Before I could say anything, she turned to joke with the other guys.
She said, "If your girlfriends can't take a joke, then you guys don't need to play with me either. I don't want to be misunderstood.
"If I were involved with any of you, could you even find girlfriends? Girls are so dramatic. No wonder I don't like hanging out with them."
To save face, my boyfriend, Felix Parker, scolded me in front of everyone, but Riley wasn't satisfied and only added fuel to the fire.
She said, "I sit on her guy's lap, and she overreacts. If she knew we'd kissed, she'd be furious! He's a grown man and can't even control his own girlfriend. What a disgrace!"
Provoked by her, my boyfriend left me and drove her back to college, claiming it was to "train my mental endurance."
Riley boldly moved between Felix and me, hiding her flirtation behind the guise of friendship.
Eventually, she even published photos of me from Felix's phone, causing harassment that drove me to depression.
On the day we broke up, she flaunted Felix's arm.
She said, "You didn't know how to cherish such a good boyfriend, so I'll gladly take him."
My anger made me lose my mind. I rushed over to teach her a lesson, but she pushed me into the traffic...
When I opened my eyes again, I was back at the club gathering.
Watching Riley linger around men, a slow smile crept across my face.
Making moves? Anyone could do that.
*****
The loud noise and flashing lights assaulted my senses.
I opened my eyes sharply.
I froze at the scene before me.
My boyfriend Felix Parker's female department head, Riley Blake, had her hand on his shoulder.
Her other hand wandered toward his abdomen as she said, "Let me check your fitness for your girlfriend."
Riley exclaimed, "Whoa, six-pack abs! Your girlfriend's lucky!"
As if she just noticed me, she pinched Felix's waist with a mischievous smile and then raised an eyebrow at me.
She said, "Don't take it personally, Courtney. I've always been this carefree."
The scene felt all too familiar.
I was confused. Didn't Riley push me into traffic and kill me last time?
Could it be… I came back to life?
Riley then glanced at James Spencer. Their eyes met, and she winked.
A flying kiss landed on James in front of everyone.
Riley said, "Sophia, haven't you fed James enough? Look at his gaze. It's like he wants to devour me.
"Even though I'm a girl, my mind is a boy. Don't give me that look. It's gross. If you want to relieve your urge, go find your girlfriend."
Sophia Cortez was James's girlfriend. But James was too busy interacting with Riley to notice her pale expression.
Under everyone's laughter, she could only lower her head in embarrassment.
Riley was the head of the student council's organization department, the only female member.
In the previous timeline, I saw her sitting on Felix's lap.
Their bodies were tightly pressed together.
I only tried to separate them, but she criticized me, "Felix, your girlfriend's too petty. It's just a little dare.
"Felix and I are just friends. He's been in the department longer than he's been with you. If I really liked him, would he even be with you? You're so dramatic. Can't even play a game."
From then on, Felix said I overreacted, insisting they were just friends.
Riley smoothly inserted herself into our lives, everywhere.
She even deliberately posted my photos from Felix's phone on the campus's confession page.
I was harassed, slandered, depressed, and eventually broke up with Felix.
On the day we broke up, she flaunted Felix's arm to taunt me.
She mocked, "You didn't know how to cherish such a good boyfriend, so I'll gladly take him."
I rushed in anger, but Riley pushed me into traffic…
Now, in this timeline, Riley was trying to bite the chocolate bar from Felix's mouth.
In the previous timeline, I always endured. But Riley grew bolder.
If that was the case, why should I care about their faces?
