Chapter 1
I am the Peach Blossom Sprite, a delicate enchantress born from the whispers of ancient blooms in our enchanted realm.
Victor Grant, the shadowy overlord of the city's underbelly, catches sight of me, utterly captivated. He schemes to eliminate my true love, leaving me shattered and alone.
Then, he whisks me away, locking me up in his secluded mansion, hidden from the world like a forbidden secret.
My heart aches with unbearable grief, and no matter how he showers me with gifts or sweet nothings, I won't give him an inch. I am ice to his fire.
His unrequited passion drives him to the brink of madness, so he turns to a substitute: a golden-haired temptress named Candy Summers, who bears an eerie resemblance to me.
To spark my jealousy, he indulges her every wild whim without a second thought.
He even traps me in the wardrobe, forcing me to witness their wild sex day after night.
Yet my hatred for him burns deeper than ever.
That changes when Candy stumbles upon me, chained in the dim basement. She pegs me as a scheming fake, desperate to steal her spot in his bed.
Fury blazing in her eyes, she hurls acid at me, hell-bent on scarring the face that echoes her own.
She tears my clothes to rags and flings me to her hulking bodyguards, egging them on to assault me without mercy.
I fight back with every ounce of my being, clawing and screaming, but she clamps down on my limbs, shoving me to my knees before her, demanding I grovel and endure her vicious humiliation.
The agony rips through me, shattering my magical essence until the ethereal mark of the blossom elves erupts across my skin in a glowing frenzy. She recoils in horror, her face draining of color.
And right then, as fate would have it, Victor has finally come to his senses. He is ready to set me free.

"No wonder you look just like me. You're some kinda freak," Candy Summers sneered, her voice dripping with venom.
"You really think a thing like you could steal Victor from me? I'm gonna wreck that pretty face of yours right now," she spat, eyes blazing.
She let out a cold snort and cracked her palm across my cheek, the sting exploding like a thunderclap.
I let out a raw howl of agony.
Blood gushed from my gashed limbs, pooling across the stone floor in crimson rivers.
I was the Peach Blossom Elf, and Victor Grant had been mesmerized by my otherworldly allure. He imprisoned me in this forsaken cellar, deep within his enchanted domain.
My senses were honed far beyond mortal keenness, attuned to the whispers of magic and shadow.
When those footsteps echoed earlier, I had figured it was just Victor slinking back to torment me again, so I dropped my guard.
But that split-second lapse nearly ended me for good.
Candy snatched a fistful of my hair, yanking hard, her eyes gleaming with pure malice.
"Who the hell do you think you are, copying my looks? Today, I'm ending that face for good," she hissed through gritted teeth.
"Let's see how you snag any guy after this," she added with a nasty smirk.
The words barely left her lips before she grabbed a flask of sulfuric elixir and splashed it straight at my face.
I didn't even have time to scream before I lunged to block it.
"Stop it! If Victor catches wind of this, he'll end you himself," I gasped, my voice quaking with raw fear.
"Since you snuck down here, you gotta know what I am to the Grant family," I added, my tone turning steely and calm despite the chaos.
Candy eyed my face for a beat and let out a chilling laugh.
"Yeah, you're a monster alright. Even your bullshit's on another level.
"Look at you, all chained up. Who do you think you're fooling with that status crap?
"Even if you were Victor's wife, you'd be toast today. No one's walking out.
"And on top of that, you're some kinda creature. Once Victor hears I cleared out this curse for him, he'll be all gratitude."
I shook my head, staring in disbelief at Victor's pampered little lover.
To claim me, he had slain my love.
Then he sealed me away in his hidden arcane villa.
Anyone who dared insult me with words lost their tongue in retribution.
Anyone who laid a finger on me forfeited their limbs to his wrath.
I was Victor's sacred ground, the one line that could never be crossed. That held true even after he was with Candy.
Candy drew a dagger, casually dragging the edge across my chest like it was a game.
She murmured with a wicked gleam, "I hear devouring a Peach Blossom Elf's heart grants eternal youth.
"I'm gonna carve it out and brew it into a potion for me and Victor to share.
"That way, we'll be tangled up forever."
I thrashed like a wild thing, every fiber screaming for escape.
"You know exactly who I am. You get that I'm Victor's no-go zone," I snarled, fury trembling in my words.
"If you kill me..."
Candy cut me off with a mocking chuckle.
"So what if I do?" she taunted. "If you're really his Achilles' heel, let's hear what he's got to say about it."
She pulled out her phone, dialing.
She put on her pitiful pout and whined into it.
"Victor, someone in your house bullies me. What do I do?"
"Whatever makes you smile, babe, even off her if you want," Victor replied.
Candy flipped it to amplify, blasting his indifferent cruelty into every dank corner of the cellar.
She hung up, her smugness cranked to eleven.
"See? Victor said I can handle you however I damn well please," she bragged, voice oozing satisfaction. "You tried to spook me, you worthless slut? Now I'm carving out that heart myself."
