Less than 20 minutes later, my phone buzzed with an encrypted email from Monkey.

I booted up my computer, typed in a long, complicated key, and unlocked the file.

Inside was a background report so detailed that it was scary.

James Evans. Male, 42 years old. The legal representative of PrimeBuild Construction Ltd. in Riverdale.

On the surface, he ran a legitimate company. But really, it was just a shell for money laundering.

His real business was in the gray zone, "debt collection" and "fixing problems."

Simply put, he was a high-level gang leader with a company name.
