The Text That Broke Us

Synopsis

Seven years ago, Nora Vance begged her college boyfriend, Ethan Hale, for money to save her dying father. His reply was brutal: Get lost.Abandoned in a storm and crushed by what she believed was betrayal, Nora dropped out, buried her father, and spent years clawing her way out of debt. When she meets Ethan again at their class reunion, he is a powerful billionaire, engaged to the woman who stole him from her. Nora is only a waitress serving his table. Then Lena drunkenly reveals the truth: she deleted Nora's plea for help and forged Ethan's rejection. As Ethan realizes the woman he never stopped loving was destroyed by a lie, he will do anything to make amends. But some apologies arrive seven years too late—and some wounds can never be washed clean.
