On the third night, after Kaelen turned into a fox, he was bolder. He not only jumped onto the bed willingly, but he also began to explore the entire room.

He leaped onto my vanity and knocked over a pot of rouge. He burrowed into my wardrobe and dragged out one of my dresses, rolling all over it.

He even jumped onto the desk and batted at my quill, treading over the pages until they were covered in tiny, ink-stained paw prints.

I chased him all over the room, finally cornering him.
