Chapter 3
As soon as she finished, the whole place went dead silent.
Vivian's tears started falling, looking like she'd been deeply wronged. Ethan's face turned livid with rage. He jabbed a finger at Scarlett, but for a moment, he was so furious he couldn't even get the words out. "You. you're impossible."
Scarlett swatted his hand away, hard enough to make it sting and turn red. "Don't point at me. Try it again and I'll break your finger."
Scarlett shot back, "I'm here to hustle, not to get dragged into your soap opera drama. Keep pushing me, and I'll air all your dirty laundry right here on stream."
[Scarlett is so bold. She won me over, I'm a fan now.]
[I'm loving this wild beauty. She roasted them so hard. Those two drama queens totally deserve each other.]
[Are you guys nuts? Scarlett is plain rude.]
[LOL, Ethan's face turned green with rage. This is so satisfying.]
Live viewers shot up to a million in a flash, and the hashtag [Scarlett Savage] went rocketing to the top of the trending list.
Backstage, the production crew was floored by the numbers. They'd pegged Scarlett as a walking scandal magnet, but she'd set the internet on fire.
Michael watched Scarlett walk away and couldn't help but chuckle. "This girl's really something." Zoey dropped her usual disdain, her gaze turning curious.
Summer's live chat was flooded with "Scarlett is so cool." She quickly swung her camera to Scarlett, not wanting to miss a moment.
Vivian was seething inside, frustrated and anxious at Scarlett's unpredictable attitude. Still, she kept up her act, voice trembling as she said, "Scarlett, I really didn't mean anything bad."
"Enough," Scarlett cut her off, waving her hand impatiently. "If you want to cry, take it somewhere else. Don't hold up my boarding. Keep pretending and I'll chuck your backpack, see how you handle the wild with nothing on."
Vivian immediately shut up, forcing back her tears, too scared to say another word.
Ethan watched Scarlett being so assertive, and something unfamiliar twisted in his chest, not disgust, but genuine surprise. The Scarlett he remembered was always circling around him, pathetic and obsessed. When had she ever shown this kind of backbone?
Scarlett couldn't be bothered to waste another second on those two. She turned to the crew and said, "Let's board already. Quit wasting my time."
The staff member froze for a moment, then hurriedly nodded. "Uh, yes, Miss West. Right this way."
Scarlett marched straight toward the boarding gate, her back tall and proud. She wasn't fazed at all by the online hate, totally a little bit crazy.
In the live chat, most of the haters disappeared, and new fans were pouring in like crazy.
[Scarlett gets a 10/10 for this move. No acting, no pretending, just pure authenticity.]
[I totally misjudged her before. Turns out she just refuses to be treated unfairly.]
[I'm locked in on her wild persona. Definitely following this show from now on.]
The plane soared off, carrying everyone toward Southshore Island, the deserted place where the Wild Survival Live adventure was about to kick off.
Scarlett settled back in her seat, eyes shut, calmly tuning out Vivian's glances and Ethan's gaze, she couldn't care less about their drama.
Scarlett thought to herself, 'The wild, that's where the real fight begins. Winning fans with my savage attitude? That's just step one.
Next, I'll show them what real skills look like and make every last one of them eat their words.'
