Two weeks before moving day.

I was checking my bank statement when two more charges showed up on the supplementary card.

Thirty thousand.

Added to the previous one hundred thousand, that made one hundred thirty thousand total.

I searched the payee's name.

Richard Grant.

Michael had used my supplementary card to transfer one hundred thirty thousand to his late wife's father.

I screenshotted every transaction: date, amount, payee, and sent them to Sophie Lane.

Sophie called back three minutes later.

"This is using marital property without your consent—no, scratch that. This is your premarital property. What's the limit on that…
