Chapter 4
Chapter 4 Humiliated And Embarrassed
SASHA MOORE
Adrian knew I had only one parent left. My mother had died a year ago after a long battle with illness, and since then, my father had become the only family I had left in the world. Yet Adrian still used my father's life as a weapon against me, knowing exactly how much his treatment meant to me.
I sat numbly on the floor, feeling like everything around me was unreal. My hands trembled as I stared at Adrian, while my wolf remained unusually quiet inside me, as if even she couldn't understand how the only man I had loved could threaten the last person I had left.
I slowly lifted my eyes toward him. “You know Dad is sick. You know he's all I have, and you're still threatening him.”
“I know,” Adrian replied quietly.
“How can you stand there and say that so calmly?”
His jaw tightened. “Because I'm trying to protect Vivian. All I'm asking is that you remain silent.”
I closed my eyes as tears slipped down my cheeks. I wanted to fight him, expose him, and run as far away from the Blackwood family as possible, but the image of my father lying weak in the healing center stopped me.
Finally, I whispered, “Fine.”
Adrian stared at me. “What did you say?”
“I'll cooperate.”
“You promise?”
“I promise I won't release the video or tell the pack what happened in the hotel.”
He nodded slowly. “Good.”
I looked at him with tears in my eyes. “You're not giving me a choice.”
Adrian remained silent for a moment before turning toward the door. “Agnes will take care of you.”
I immediately looked up. “Wait.”
He stopped.
“I want to see my father.”
“You can.”
“Really?”
“Yes, but only when I allow it, and you'll have pack guards with you.”
I swallowed hard. “I don't care. I just want to know he's safe.”
Adrian nodded. “I'll arrange it.”
He opened the door and called for the maid, “Agnes!”
The maid hurried over and bowed her head. “Yes, Alpha Adrian?”
“Stay with Sasha. She is not to leave this room without permission.”
“Yes, Alpha.”
Adrian then looked toward the two guards outside. “Marcus, Ethan, remain at the door. Nobody allows Sasha to leave the estate.”
My heart sank. “Adrian,” I whispered.
He looked back at me, “I thought you said you agreed now.”
His expression became unreadable.
“I do.”
Then he walked away.
The door closed behind him.
A few minutes later, my phone vibrated.
I looked down.
The official Silver Moon Pack account had released a statement.
My hands began trembling as I opened it.
The Silver Moon Pack confirms that Future Alpha Adrian Blackwood and Vivian Avery have maintained a close relationship for years. The upcoming mating announcement will proceed as planned, with Vivian recognized as Adrian has chosen official and public mate.
I stared at the screen in disbelief.
Then I saw my name.
The statement described me as someone who had caused unnecessary trouble and attempted to interfere with Adrian and Vivian's relationship.
“They made me the villain,” I whispered.
Agnes looked at me sadly. “Miss Sasha...”
I continued reading.
The comments were already exploding.
“Shameless homewrecker!”
“How dare she attack Vivian? Our future Luna!”
“Alpha Adrian deserves better Vivian to be his Luna, not that Sasha!”
Then the private messages began.
“Leave Alpha Adrian and Luna Vivian alone! You whore!”
“You're disgusting slut bitch!”
“Go away from the Silver Moon Pack.”
“You should die!”
The messages made my hands go cold. I quickly locked my phone and threw it onto the bed.
Agnes hurried toward me. “Please don't read them.”
“They hate me.”
“They don't know the truth.”
“But Adrian knows.”
Agnes lowered her head, her fingers nervously twisting the edge of her apron. After a long silence, she finally spoke, her voice hesitant. “Miss Sasha, I'm sorry to see you suffering like this. I truly am. But... everyone in the Blackwood household knows that Miss Vivian is very important to Alpha Adrian.”
I slowly looked at her. “Really?”
Agnes nodded carefully. “He cares about her deeply. We have seen how he treats her, how quickly he comes whenever she needs him. I shouldn't say this, but...” She swallowed before continuing, “I believe Alpha Adrian is in love with her.”
I spent hours trapped inside the room, staring at the ceiling while the entire pack believed I was the villain. My mother was gone, my father was sick, and the man I had trusted with my heart had turned the entire pack against me.
Not long after, the guards escorted me to the Silver Moon Healing Center. The moment I entered, some turned toward me, and whispers followed me through the hallway.
“That's Sasha.”
“She's the one who attacked Vivian.”
“I heard Alpha Adrian is protecting Vivian.”
“He's such a good future Alpha.”
“She should be ashamed!”
I kept walking, pretending not to hear them.
Near the healing wing, two women were whispering loudly.
“Did you see the official statement?”
“Yes. Alpha Adrian handled everything perfectly.”
“Vivian is so lucky.”
“Thar Sasha was jealous!”
My fists tightened.
One of the guards glanced at me. “Miss Moore, let’s go”
I forced a weak smile. “Yes.”
Finally, we reached my father's room.
I stood outside for a moment, taking a deep breath and wiping my tears. I didn't want him to see me broken. He had already lost my mother, and I couldn't allow him to worry about me too.
I opened the door.
My father immediately looked toward me, “Sasha?”
I smiled as I walked toward his bed. “Hi, Dad.”
His eyes immediately narrowed with concern, “You've been crying.”
I shook my head. “No, I'm fine.”
“No, you're not.”
I sat beside him and held his hand.
He studied my face for several seconds before asking softly, “What happened?”
I lowered my eyes, “Dad...”
His fingers tightened around mine, “Is this about Adrian? Sasha, what did he do to you?”
