Synopsis

Truth or Dare — I lost. My friend asked me: "During your relationship with Julian Church, which moment made your heart flutter the most?" I took the cue and said, without missing a beat: "After we broke up, when he realized his true feelings because someone else was pursuing him, and came back to win me over again." The whole room erupted in cheers and well-wishes. Only the girl sitting in the corner looked utterly humiliated, her eyes red, completely out of place. I sneered inwardly, held her gaze without flinching, and pressed my body even closer to Julian. He stiffened for a moment, but let me lean in, even opening his arms to hold me. It wasn't until that girl couldn't bear it any longer and stormed out in tears that Julian suddenly whispered in my ear, his voice soft but chiding "Yvonne, don't take it too far."
