Chapter 1 · The Nerd Behind the Crown

My name is Lilian Reyes.

I am 19 years old.

I am a singer.

I live with my brother Javier Reyes who is in a band called VELIX and my parents but they are mostly in other countries as they are the CEO of a big company.

I want to live a normal life going to college to study and not being treated like a queen everywhere i go.

So my manager decided that i will go to a college but i will be in disguise as a nerd so that people dont recognize me.

Lilian P.O.V.I woke up by the sound of my alarm.

I checked the time and it was 6 00 a.m. First class starts at 8 so i have plenty of time.

I went to the bathroom to take a shower.

Then i went to my closet which was full of clothes.

After awhile, i decided to wear this.Outfit:

Glasses:

Then i grabbed my bag and went down for breakfast.

I saw my maid cooking waffles for me and Javier.

I went to his room and saw him asleep.

I had a great idea to wake him up and i know he will kill me because no one should disturb his sleep.

"THE HOUSE IS ON FIRE!

!" I screamed and looked at Javier who woke up and hugged me tightly as he was afraid of fire.

I laughed at his reaction and he gave me a death glare.

"Hey!

Dont you dare do that again!

I almost had a heartattack" he said i was still laughing and then he began to tickle me.

"Hahahaahha Javier stop!

Hahahahaha" and after 5 minutes he finally stopped.

I would be going to the same school as him.

He got ready and then we went to eat our breakfast.

When i was done i said "Javier, i am gonna walk to school because if i will go with you they will recognize me as Lilian Reyes" "Yes that is a good idea oh and remember your name is Lilian Tucker kk?" "Yes Javier bye!" "Bye see you there!" He said and then i walked out of the house.

After a short while i reached school.

I stepped in the school hallway and everyone started staring and whispering about me.

"Eww look at that nerd" "I know right she is so ugly" but i didnt care and went to the principal's office to collect my schedule.

I got it and saw that the first class was Math.

So i went to the classroom.

The teacher told me to come in and introduce myself.

"Hello everyone.

I am Lilian Tucker and i am 19.

Hope we all become good friends." "Alright Lilian you may sit beside Javier Reyes.

Javier please raise your hand" he smiled at me and then i smiled back.

I was so happy to sit beside my brother.

Then the lesson began.

There was a 5 minute break and i plugged my earphones in and listened to my songs and VELIX.

Then someone tapped my shoulder.

I turned around and saw Lucas.

I know him as he is also a part of VELIX.

He knows i am in disguise as a nerd.

Only VELIX and i know that i am Lilian Reyes, Javier's sis and a singer.

He said "HI Lilian!

!" he quickly pulled me in a bear hug.

I hugged him back.

"Oh hey Lucas!" He pulled away from the hug and then VELIX and i started chatting.

~TIMESKIP TO THE CAFETERIA~I went to the cafeteria and sat alone at a table and started to eat my lunch.

Javier told me to sit with them but i told him that people will get suspicious so i sat alone.

I was eating peacefully when i felt something cold on my head.

Lilian P.O.VIt was a group of 4 girls standing there and 1 of them was holding an empty milk box which was emptied on my head and the whole cafeteria began to laugh.

"YOU UGLY NERD!

YOU BETTER STAY AWAY FROM OUR BOYS!" a girl said.

"Umm excuse me but who are your boys?" "Its VELIX duhh" another girl said rolling her eyes.

"Well sorry to break it to you but they are my friends and anyways who are you to tell me to stay away from my friends?" i said, annoyed.

"You dont know us?

We are VELVET ASH!" and then they introduced themselves.

"Wow ugly names just like your faces" The Sylvia girl was about to slap me and i closed my eyes waiting for the pain but i didnt feel it.

I opened my eyes and saw Lucas holding her hand.

"You-" "Dont push me Sylvia how dare you do this to her and why did you do this to her?

"Lucas she w-was gonna b-beat us" "Dont lie!

We saw that she did nothing, NOW LEAVE AND DONT BOTHER HER AGAIN!" They left while giving me a death glare.
