Chapter 4

I was wearing a gray T-shirt that belonged to a man. The sheets were crisp and clean, and the blanket was pulled up to my chest.

"You're awake?" A head popped in at the door, wearing a black T-shirt and silver earrings. "You passed out in front of my bar last night. I'm James Carter."

He leaned against the doorframe, looking straight at me.

I glanced down, only to find that I was wearing his T-shirt, with my own underwear and pants underneath.

"Did you change my clothes?" I asked.

He nodded.

"Thanks," I said. I knew nothing had happened…
