Chapter 5

March 18th.

Nothing special happened during the day.

I went out to the market, picked up some groceries, cooked lunch, and ate alone.

After that, I did the dishes, wiped down the table, and took in the laundry from the balcony.

Monica showed up at three in the afternoon.

The moment she walked in, she checked me out.

"How come you look so chill? I was so nervous for you last night, I couldn't even sleep," Monica said.
