Everything was normal.

It wasn't until around ten at night that Lilian turned off the TV and walked to the master bedroom door.

She didn't go in, just leaned against the doorframe, lowered her voice, and called out toward the closet.

She said, "Manuel, is everything ready? You're sticking to the plan, right? Nothing's going to go wrong?"

Manuel's muffled voice came from inside the closet, sounding a bit impatient.

He replied, "Don't worry, Mom. Everything's taken care of. Someone from their side will call in two days."
