Chapter 4

Jake hated me, like I was his worst enemy.

Sometimes, when I just wanted to have a normal chat, he'd yell at me.

"Do whatever you want. Why are you even telling me?" he'd shout.

I'd wake up an hour early to make him breakfast, only to see him dump it in the trash as soon as he left the house.

I knew my cooking was terrible. Honestly, it was a complete disaster just like me.

The last message I had sent was still from a few days ago.

Jake couldn't believe it. He kept logging out of WhatsApp and…
