Synopsis

Victor Reyes can handle highway pileups, parenting emergencies, and every crisis Station 35 throws at him. What he cannot handle is the possibility that his closest friend, Nathan Porter, might want something more. Nathan has been making his case for weeks through homemade dinners, flowers, late-night movies with Benjamin, and a steady place in the Reyes family. Victor mistakes every gesture for friendship, even as Celeste, Des, Morgan, and the rest of the crew watch the courtship unfold in disbelief. Between exhausting shifts, family obligations, and one spectacular misunderstanding, Victor begins to recognize how completely Nathan has become part of his life. But realizing the truth does not make saying it easy. When fear sends Victor running, Benjamin and Carmen help him see what he stands to lose. To close the space between them, Victor must risk the friendship he treasures and ask Nathan for the future they have already started building.
