His grip on my waist was iron, pinning me against his broad chest so tightly I couldn't move.

My mind reeled. He's completely lost to his beast.

I brought my hands up, jamming my palms against his massive chest, and shoved with every ounce of strength I had left. I didn't try to pull away; I twisted my hips and brought my heavy boot down hard on his instep.
