I didn’t go back to the apartment. I wasn’t afraid of Liam in the least, but I was in fact afraid of what Damian could and would do to him. Damian wasn’t a violent man but he never backed down from a fight either. And he used to practise Taekwondo.

Besides, considering Liam and I worked at the same company, there would be plenty of chances to set the score straight. There was no avoiding him there, but instead of making me angst-y, the fact made me burn with anticipation… That would serve the purpose of exacting my revenge perfectly…
