Chapter 5

On the first day of the writing workshop, I met a bunch of like-minded people.

There were recent college grads, middle-aged office workers switching careers, and even retirees finally chasing their dreams.

We all sat together, sharing our writing dreams, and the atmosphere was something I hadn't felt in a long time.

"I want to write a book about my life experiences," a middle-aged woman said.

"I want to be a novelist," a young guy said, practically bouncing in his seat.

When it was my turn, I stood up. "I want to write real stories about women, marriage, and freedom."
