I clinked glasses with Charlie Smart, who was rumored to swing both ways.

He checked Adrian out from head to toe with obvious interest in his eyes.

Charlie said, "So you're Professor Schultz. Pleasure to meet you. Gotta say, you're the whole package, smart and easy on the eyes!"

After making the rounds, Adrian frowned and said he wanted to head out early.

"Mr. Smart kept giving me these weird looks. It was making me uncomfortable. I think I'll head back first," Adrian said.
