Chapter 4

Nobody called me down for dinner. I didn't go on my own.

By the time my stomach started growling loud enough to echo in my room, I regretted it.

This family never saved me a plate. I wasn't nearly important enough for that.

The kitchen fridge was always cleared out after dinner.

Everyone except me had their own mini-fridges and cabinets stocked with snacks in their rooms.

Honestly, I shouldn't have let my anger get the best of me. I was too stupid.
