Chapter 5

He took the cup from my hand, his large, well-defined fingers wrapping around my wrist. Using my hand as support, Austin downed the honey water in one go.

His sudden action startled me, and my ears grew hot.

I wondered if he was really drunk.

I caught a whiff of danger and almost bolted, but before I could get away, a large hand wrapped around my waist.

The world spun. Austin had me pinned to the sofa.

I gasped, "Austin!"

"Yeah." Austin hovered over me, his voice carrying a trace of frustration. "I still can't remember. My head really hurts.
