Over the next two days, I was in a complete fog and started running a high fever.

I dragged myself to the hospital alone to get an IV and pick up medication, and the tears wouldn't stop.

What scared me even more was that every time I headed home, I felt like someone was following me.

The sensation of being watched left me on edge.

It was evening, and I was walking home when that feeling came back.
