Seraphine clasped her hands over her mouth, gasping in surprise.

"Alpha, what do you mean?" Darius asked, his voice filled with shock.

The Alpha’s aura was so powerful that everyone in the hall could feel it. Every word he spoke made me shudder. My brain replayed the passionate moment we had shared in his house. I felt my panties dampen instantly.

"I'm sure I didn't hear right," Seraphine snarled, stepping forward. "How can the Alpha of this pack choose a wolfless as his Luna?"
