The world came back into focus within a sterile hospital room.

"Olivia, you're awake? How are you feeling?" Edward asked, holding my hand nervously.

I slowly pulled my hand away, my gaze locking onto his. My voice was hoarse as I asked, "How's the baby?"

Edward froze, his eyes darting away, lips moving soundlessly.

Guilt and pain showed in his eyes.

His silence said it all—my baby was gone.

"Edward, let's get divorced," I said, my voice cold and final.
