Chapter 2
Chapter Two.
SIENNA’S POV
*
I can’t believe I just did that.
I can’t believe that I just said yes to stripping for my best friend, who is possibly the love of my life.
Talk about a humiliation ritual.
And now I was panicking because his birthday was just in a few hours! And that means I have to be at the club soon.
“You have to do this. Remember who you are doing this for. You are doing this for your sister!” I quietly mutter to myself while on campus.
I am in my last year of getting my nursing degree, even after all the sleepless nights. I still needed something when I finally quit stripping, and besides, it was a good cover-up.
And right now I am sitting by the fountain area while I scribble mercilessly on my notepad until I hear my name.
“SIENNA!”
And oh God, I know that voice anywhere.
Before I can turn, I feel his hand on my shoulders. Just as I am shocked to be suddenly pulled into a hug, I hug him back.
“Oh, Luca!” I say, showing the brightest smile I could. “Happy birthday!” I add a second later.
“I thought you forgot?” he asks with his brow raised.
“I wouldn’t for the world!” And it was true; I wouldn’t.
I had his gift prepared, although I was surprised to see him on campus since he graduated with a medicine degree. And he was getting his residency done as a doctor.
He was more than disappointed that I didn’t follow in his footsteps, but I am more than grateful he got me the internship opportunity.
“Of course you wouldn’t forget—” a sickly sweet voice that immediately dampens my mood.
I smell her too-sweet strawberry perfume before I see her.
Monica Forbes, Luca’s girlfriend.
She swoops in, immediately locking their lips together. She shows a sensual kiss, moaning as she pushes Luca’s hand to squeeze her ass, all while I watch.
She is staking her claim and showing me who belongs to him.
Her smug eyes lock on mine before she places that preppy smile on her face again.
“Oh, hey Vienna.” It was Sienna, but she knew that and always mispronounces my name to get under my skin.
“Mon…” Luca scolds her for her mistake. He always thinks it’s cute when she blushes and apologizes to him—not me.
“Oops, sorry, baby,” she whispers, fawning over him again before she fully turns to me.
“You’re coming to my party, right? It’s in the upscale club in the city. What’s the name of the place, baby?”
“Gold Rush,” booked by yours truly! I want your 24th birthday to be special, my love!” She caressed his face. “And… you are invited,” she announced with a smile barely reaching her eyes.
She did not want me to be there, and neither did I—but I was going to be, not even as a guest, but as a stripper.
I still do not understand how she could watch the man she claimed to love get danced on by another woman. But I felt Monica never truly loved Luca.
Luca was kind, loved by all, and yet easily manipulated. And her true goal was to sink her teeth into the Vitale family, to get closer to the true heir.
Lorenzo Vitale, Luca’s brother.
“What do you say?” Luca looks at me with hope, and my heart shatters.
“I am sorry, but I have an interview for a part-time job,” I lie even as my heart bleeds at his crestfallen face.
“Oh… that’s too bad.”
“Too bad indeed.” Monica replied but looked happy that I declined.
“Well, I am going to have fun without you. You’re going to be gobsmacked when I tell you the details!” he adds, making the mood lighter.
“I wouldn’t miss that for the world. I am sorry again, Lu…” I say to my best friend as Monica drags him along.
I stand there, waving at him yet feeling dirty because I just lied. And worse, because I am about to do dirty things to him.
Was it bad that I felt my heart skip at the thought that I would be close to Luca so intimately in that way?
“Focus, Sienna.” I shook my head, gripping my notepad as I headed to my workplace.
The Gold Rush Club.
***
I head towards the dancers’ back room. Given that I bring most of the club’s income, I was given a small room to hide my identity.
I then head into the tiny tucked-in shower, bathing myself before I head to my vanity desk. I quickly curl my hair, do my makeup, and put on my stripper dress for the night.
It was barely a dress as it rose to my thighs and barely covered anything.
It was a red lace number, a see-through gown.
It showed my perky ass and my ribbon-thin g strings sliding through the thin layer of my bra that cupped my nipples.
I reached for the cherry-red lipstick, my signature, as I lined my unusually green eyes with kohl to accentuate them.
Once I was done, I tended to my mask—the golden mask that gave me the name Golden Ballerina.
I donned it just as a knock on the door signals my turn.
With a shaky breath I head towards the elevator to the private room, and on the sign placard is the name “Mr. Vitale.”
I open the door to soft music but am met with surprise. Other than one person here—only him—and in that dimly lit room that I specifically begged Mr. Jones to host my client in, I could barely see his face.
“Mr. Vitale?” I call, but his only response is a finger beckoning me closer.
His dark mask is a contrast to mine, and his black suit deliciously fits his buff physique.
I first reach for the pole, making a sway of my hips as I arch down, letting my ass jiggle.
I let my skills show for themselves as I truly owned the pole, doing what I knew best and enthralling my client with my skills as I landed with a split.
He watched me with hunger—a predatory gaze that I have never seen Luca Vitale ever show—and it set my core on fire and made my pussy drip.
This time he reached a hand out for me, and I took it with a trembling hand.
Even as warning bells of danger scream at me, a danger I foolishly fall into as he steadies me on his lap.
“Grind that ass for me, baby,” his deep voice commands over the music,
and my body moves on its own, grinding my waist on his groin to the beat of the music.
I was doing things I never had—dry humping a client—but I couldn’t stop. But then I feel his fingers trace between my thighs, and my breath hitches.
And look, my God… I was letting him. I was letting his fingers push closer to my now wet sex and damp panties. My inner dark needs sprang to life.
“There is no one here but us,” his muffled voice whispers, and my legs open wider.
I let him slip his fingers into my folds, letting his fingers rub my clit as I began to tremble.
I didn’t move when I felt his large hands squeeze my ass; instead, my hips moved faster.
His fingers, thick and hot in my pussy, while my hips rolled, giving into the pleasure as I humped and danced on his lap, my vision blurred with need.
Sweat flamed against my skin and his tattooed chest… wait.
Wait.
A tattooed chest?
Luca didn’t have chest tattoos. And now that I was closer—Luca’s eyes were a light brown. Not the dark grey eyes of a predator that locked with mine as I saw a cruel smirk curl on his lips.
I gasped, pushing away from him like his skin was lava, only to feel a heavy hand pull at my wrist and bring me closer to him.
I should have known from the private room, down to the heavy, dark aura, that this wasn’t the man I loved. This was someone dangerous.
“Mr. Vitale” didn’t stand for Luca. Oh no… it was him.
I watched him place his fingers that glistened with my essence against his lips as he hummed.
“Hello, my little ballerina… or should I say, Sienna?” His deep voice caused goosebumps on my skin as I couldn’t believe I was face to face with Renzo Vitale!
I had just stripped for the wrong brother!
