I pretended not to notice his annoyance and asked with a smile, "I'm already outside the café. Why can't I see you? Are you not here yet?"

After a few seconds, Adrian asked warily, "Who are you?"

"Who am I?" I grumbled, clearly annoyed. "Come on, kid, weren't you the one begging to meet IRL? Don't tell me you already forgot."
