"You're going to be okay, Ada.

Don't worry." He wipes my cheeks and doesn't say anything else.

It gives me time to compose myself.

I think about what I want to do next.

"I think I'll just go back to Windhelm," I end up saying.

His jaw drops open.

"That's crazy, Adeline.

You need to rest and recover first."

"I can do that there."

"In a dorm room?

That's hardly the place."

"It's better than being home.

I can't stand waking up to constant yelling every day.

It's a freaking circus in there."

Bruno sighs and thinks about something again.
