Chapter 2
Ellie frowned, his eyes darkening with shock. “W-What? Are you kidding me? I’m married to Alpha Geon! I love him—”
His words cut off sharply. Alpha Kyro’s eyes suddenly blazed bright red, and the tattoos winding across his skin glowed with a fierce, unnatural light. Ellie could instantly feel the raw, overwhelming power rolling off him in waves.
“I don’t care whether you love him or not,” Alpha Kyro said, his voice deep and commanding, leaving no room for argument. “You are mine.”
Tears spilled down Ellie’s cheeks. “Please— I’m begging you. Don’t do this. Stop it.”
Alpha Kyro only smirked coldly and turned to leave, locking the heavy door behind him. Day after day, Ellie stayed trapped in that room, helpless and hopeless. Yet even in his despair, he could feel it deep in his bones — Alpha Geon was looking for him. He could sense his mate fighting to reach him.
Then one night, Alpha Kyro came for him again. He tied a soft blindfold over Ellie’s eyes and led him out to a waiting car. They drove for what felt like hours. When the blindfold was finally removed, Ellie found himself standing in a spacious, luxurious penthouse.
“W-Where am I?” he stammered, hugging himself.
“This is my home,” Kyro answered calmly. “You’re far safer here. I got word that the Midnight Vanguard Pack is closing in, they’re searching everywhere for you.”
“What do you really want from me?” Ellie asked, his voice trembling.
“I want you, Ellie.”
“You do? B-But how? We’ve only met once. I-I don’t even know you,” Ellie said, growing more confused and frustrated.
Alpha Kyro stepped closer, closing the space between them. He cupped Ellie’s face firmly, forcing him to look straight up. A cold shiver ran down Ellie’s spine the moment their eyes met— Alpha Kyro’s gaze was intense, unblinking, burning with a wild, possessive hunger, like he was devouring every inch of him, reading every secret he ever had.
“So what if you don’t know me?” Kyro murmured, his voice deep and rough. “I know you. Every little thing. I’ve been watching you from afar for so long. I was the one sending you all those flowers to court you. Did you think it was from that bastard, huh?”
Ellie frowned harder, completely bewildered. “Flowers? Whaddya mean? I never—”
Alpha Kyro’s smirk sharpened, twisted with dark obsession. “Of course you have no idea. That bastard Geon kept it hidden, blocked me from reaching you. But you were mine long before he ever touched you.” He ran one finger slowly, almost painfully, over Ellie’s soft lips, his eyes darkening to black. “And I swear to you, no one will ever come between us again. Nothing in this world will take you away from me now.”
Ellie sighed heavily, his voice small and firm. “B-But I don’t want you.”
Alpha Kyro’s grip on his cheeks tightened sharply, making Ellie wince in pain. His jaw clenched hard, the lines of his face turning rigid with suppressed fury.
“Fine,” he growled, his tone dropping low and dangerous. “I know exactly how fiercely the Midnight Vanguard Pack protects you. Now that you’re here with me, destroying them will be easy—piece by piece.”
He let go abruptly. Ellie stood trembling, cold fear coiling tight in his chest—he knew Alpha Kyro meant every word. His pack would die for him without a second thought, especially once they learned about his pregnancy. He couldn’t let that happen.
As Alpha Kyro turned to leave, Ellie’s mind raced. He had no choice.
“Wait…” he breathed out, just loud enough to stop him in his tracks.
Kyro paused and looked back at him.
“I give in,” Ellie forced out, his heart hammering. “I’ll do anything you want.”
“Good.” Alpha Kyro murmured, his eyes darkening with satisfaction.
They talked it out and reached an agreement. Ellie felt a little relieved. Alpha Kyro promised not to hurt anyone from the Midnight Vanguard Pack, but only if Ellie stayed with him.
Weeks passed. Alpha Kyro took good care of him: brought his meals, tended to every need, treated him like his true mate. Ellie played along perfectly, acting like he’d grown fond of him, but it was all just a plan to lower Kyro’s guard.
Then one night, Alpha Kyro came home dead drunk. He didn’t say a word — just collapsed onto the bed and passed out. Ellie’s heart raced; this was his chance. He slipped quietly toward the door, hands shaking as he reached for the lock — only to freeze.
A low, furious growl echoed behind him. Alpha Kyro was awake, eyes blazing with rage.
“I’ve given you everything,” he snarled, towering over him. “And this is how you repay me? Betrayal?”
Ellie stood his ground, voice trembling but clear. “Can you stop forcing this? I don’t want you. I never have.”
Alpha Kyro bit his lip, eyes blazing, and lunged forward. Ellie shoved him hard. “Stop!”
Alpha Kyro licked his lips, a cruel glint in his eyes. “No one dares defy me.” He clamped a bruising hand around Ellie’s jaw, yanking him into a harsh, suffocating kiss—no mercy, no consent.
Ellie had nowhere to go. He felt trapped, helpless, every touch rough and claiming as Kyro overpowered him, ignoring his struggles, his sobs, his fear—taking whatever he wanted like Ellie was nothing but his property.
Alpha Kyro stripped Ellie’s clothes away in one swift, rough motion, leaving him exposed and defenseless before he could even gasp. He buried his face against Ellie’s chest, taking his nipple into his mouth and suckling with hungry, relentless intensity—obsessive, claiming, no regard for Ellie’s flinches. He kissed and nipped his way slowly upward, trailing hot, open-mouthed marks over soft skin, moving relentlessly up the curve of his neck until his breath burned hot against Ellie’s pulse.
Then he pulled back slightly, breathing heavy, his voice cold and final.
“I don’t care if you’re pregnant. You will carry my child—whether you like it or not.”
